I'm not concerned. Parents can control high school teams. That rarely happens in college and never in the pros. Every player in the NBA is good and could but better than Ball. Brett Brown wouldn't cater to Lavar. What's Lavar going to do to Brett? He can't get him fired. Embiid and Simmons should be better than Ball.
In a way, a parent like Lavar CAN get a NBA Head Coach fired. Maybe not directly. But, if a Father who has constantly molded his kids like Lavar has, if he convinces his NBA Son that the coach is a detriment to his game/career...that player CAN get a Head Coach fired. This has been proven throughout sports.
The concern is really that he becomes a massive distraction and dealing with the fall out from his self centered side show takes away from focusing on basketball.
