Why do we like blaming the refs so much? Have we thought that maybe those calls were actually fouls? Have we considered that we're also getting questionable foul calls? Maybe it all balances out?

Maybe we're losing because they get layups and threes whenever they want.

Our lack of defense to start games is really frustrating. We dig a hole early on, then try to come back late. Not a good look.

74 points in a HALF!?!?! WTF! JJ Reddick 18 points in a half! This is the worse defensive effort i have ever witnessed

It's actually pretty shocking that we're only down 11. We look terrible... except for Wall.

I honestly hate blaming the refs as much as the next guy, but I believe it's a valid excuse when you're playing the Clips.

I dont know man...when you have 2 fouls you wisely back off on defense and try to Survive till the second half...unless you high like Keef or frustrated like Beal...

A bunch of ghost fouls, a few real fouls on key players and next then you know we scared to attack on defense...then a bunch of good shooters go off ...= 74 points in a half. This is close to an allstar game!

When you wonder why Jason Smith played 18 minutes? Kieff had 3 fouls in 7 minutes and Mahinmi had 3 fouls in 7 minutes. That doesn't help the D, esp. Mahinmi being out.

With their hot shooters and our poor interior D we have slim chances to win this one. Plus Rivers is out. I hoped Doc will play him at least 20-25 min

That's a lot of points in one half of basketball! Down 11 only. Tighten up the D and get scoring from someone beyond Wall and Beal and they could still win this.

Brutal! We better show some D in the 2nd half. Too many breakdowns on switch offs, people left unguarded, Antwan Jamison type of D...we gotta do better. They're shooting almost 60%...thats crazy!

Mahnimi fouls were frustraiting. Two of those were made when he tried to push a smaller guy outside

Honestly 70 point halves aren't too uncommon this year. Kind of crazy how much scoring is up league wide. There's like 12 teams giving up between 108 and 109 points per 100 possessions, and that's just the middle of the pack. Spurs are the best this year at 103.2. Philly was the best last year at 98.8

Im calling it right now...we win this damn game! I think the refs are just pissing Beal off. This is his game- he is going to come out with phasers set on 'Kill'. Reddick knows what that looks like...see the 40 Beal hung on him last game.

Cobra - I also feel good about the 2nd half. Beal is indeed due for a big game!

Whenever somebody brings up Kieff's short arms, I'm going to bring up this guy. He was 6-11, 275, no jumping ability and had very short arms. If he was a healthy, he would have probably been a HOFer or close but that was our luck in the 80s. Dominated the glass. Dominated the paint. Kieff isn't that wide but he can jump and he's not skinny. Rebounding isn't about arm length. Maybe shotblocking is but rebounding is all about heart and effort.

Getting similar vibes to our previous 5-game road trip.

Things to take you mind off the game...Matthew Dellavedova makes 9.6 mil a year and avgs 7pts, 5 assist and 2 rebounds... at least we didn't SIGN him!

Nice start to the 2nd half-wide open dunk. Where was Kieff?

Rulan? NO YOU DONT.. Jeff.. you mean 17 and 10 Jeff for a career. You mean rookie with 14 pts per game? You do know how many points and rebounds Keef avg this year? While I might agree with you in some ways...Keef seems to have short arms cause he cant rebound.
