That build of Semi's screams "ready to play with the big boys". Can't help but notice the shooting percentages-53% FG, 43% 3FG, and 79% FT.

Yea' only concrning thing for me would be the fact that he didn't blossom/dominate college until he was 22 and filled out physically but if you look at his numbers/minutes along with the fact that Duke likes to hoard talent then it looks much better. If it wasn't for ageism then he'd be rated a much better prospect, really good tools as a project. If we're rating prospects by level of risk-reward then Ojeleye's my guy

I think the age card is overblown. Everyone develops at a different pace. You'd rather they be amazing at 19, but that's rarely the case. I've got no problem with guys who are considered late bloomers. If they can play now, then they can play. Other guys labeled with high ceilings may never develop.

Wish he had more definitive U18 numbers but for the culture, more Hartylights. One obvious upside is that he'd be a really mobile 5, so strictly a 5 for Culture puproposes
Ojeleye's rumored wingspan very similar to Winslow's so I have no real doubt that he could play the 4 and 3. Semi-Truck, Jesus Semi's-worth, Jesusemillianaire... We'll work on the rest some other time, dom
The more I see of Hartenstein, the more I believe he's going to be a really, really good and unique player. I'm also afraid he will go up in the lottery after teams see his workouts.
The kid looks better than Markannen to me. He's a 7-footer, who's got a very tidy handle and speed. He runs the floor with the ball like a Guard and he's a bit crafty with his dribbles and moves to beat his man. But what really impresses me with him is his Vista. The lad really plays how he should and mixes up very nicely with his teammates, whether it's a pass, a screen, an off-ball cut ...
Adding to that that he can play both the 4 and the 5, that he has good range with his J, he looks to me that he might not be available when we pick.
Imagine the possibilities Hartenstein would give us: sort of twin towers with Whiteside with one Under the basket and the other running riots everywhere else. Against teams like Boston who are struggling to rebound, we would get a lot of offensive rebounds while not suffering from defence as Hartenstein is very mobile and also a good defender.
We could also put him at 5 when Whiteside goes to the bench to space the floor and take advantage of a Drummond-like player on the other side.

Yeah, so Zach Collins elevated his draft stock tonight.
ATM I want him, IH AND Semi. We can afford three more guys.

It's important for us that Gonzaga wins the tournament. Zach Collins wouldn't have as much pressure to stay for another year if they won the tournament on Monday.

I've always been an ACC man, but Oregon is playing much better bball tonight. Better team.

Wonder what Riley was thinking? Need some team like PLand to turn a pick loose.

DoM a second pick in this draft is a must. We probably aren't keeping all of the bench together, and having a second player with potential would be great.

I'm holding Pat to his word. I want more young talent on this team, particularly in the front court. Will take what I can get but would rather have a chance at another guy in the teens. Maybe unrealistic.

Maybe Ezeli for McBob or something that ends up with us getting pick and taking salary(Well it would need to be a three-way-- which wouldn't work-- so we wouldn't have to keep him in our front court).
Only watched Zach in two games this tourney/season, seems he had some game yesterday. Gives us some options. Would be cool to have a second pick, feels like no matter how we pick, we'll be leaving someone just as interesting on the board. OG's raw offensively with a serious injury but man 7'6 wingspan for a wing/forward, only a few of those out there. Hartenstein too, nothing saying he'll be special but skilled big man with potential. Same with Patton, Leaf and Swanigan

The issue is what we have to give up to get that pick. Are you prepared to move a valuable player with potential, or someone who is playing well - we don't have many of either, so we'd be giving up a big piece.

Might be easier to try and get a 2nd rounder. We don't have many movable pieces as you said, or at least ones I'd be willing to give up. In my mind, if you trade any of our nice pieces (Goran, Hassan, even TJ) then you might as well trade them all. A bit extreme.

I'll take Ojeleye over Leaf, don't care where they're positioned on mocks.

I think age and the issues with Duke have hurt Semi hugely. But his stock may rise once he gets into workouts - especially if he's showing he can it all.
Leaf's stock will go up if he can continue to show the same without Ball. Right now his big question mark is about whether he can do this outside of the UCLA system & without Ball. If he has good workouts he'll solidify himself as a top-15 pick.
The others who I see shooting up are Williams, Patton, Hartenstein (up to 12, 13, 14 discussions, or higher), and Giles. I know I've been on Giles all season, but someone that highly rated coming out of HS doesn't drop this badly and then not bounce back. Big droppers this highly rated get into workouts and light it up - for Harry, he mostly needs to show explosiveness and do the things scouts expected, preferably without the knee brace.
Bridges is someone being underrated on some mocks, and will be in that 3rd tier discussion.

National championship at 9 boys. Should be a good one.
