two obvious ones like you said KP and WHG (don't discount how huge those are)
Robin Lopez (he was able to trade for positive value) - brought back Justin Holiday who is a nice rotational piece
KOQ signing (i think most believe he would be able to fetch a 1st round pick)
Courtney Lee signing (another solid contract for a productive NBA starter)
Could have traded a future 1st round pick multiple times but refused (you make this sound easy for a knicks franchise that has never respect 1st round picks).

Lance Thomas is a solid rotational player as well. I really think Ron Backer might become one too.

Langston Galloway turned out to be a solid under the radar signing.

Still waiting on that next big move. Hopefully we get lucky in the draft but if we don't and stay around our similar position I am a big fan of Frank and I know Phil wont hesitate to pick him which I love about Phil. A lot of GM"s would have the stones to make that pick in the NY because of the backlash about not knowing a EURO.

I have clarified to be on team asset building and no dolan meddling so I suppose for the time being that makes me team phil...

No, Charley, Phil is a triangle first agenda. Knicks are just a tool for him to push that. He's embarrassed he got swept in his final playoff series and he wants to convince the world triangle isn't outdated but he doesn't have Tex Winter to teach it.

How can anyone who has watched what D'antonis done this season and also watched how Melo bastardized that system then blame the system the knicks are currently failing run. You know that time tested system that's won 11 rings.

Argue me it's the system and not melo. After D'antoni is about to win coach of the year after melo ran him and his system out of town.

You aren't stupid enough to believe Phil would be trying to implement the triangle if he didn't think it can be a success.

Running the triangle correctly and winning are side by side.

Melos still trying to go his own direction. Like he did with George Karl. Like he did with D'antoni. Like he's doing with Phil.

We need a team that is ready to run the game plan. Not inmates who want to run the asylum.

Believe me, I have MANY-A-TIMES ranted against trading picks. That to me is his second biggest accomplishment to drafting KP. As you point out, not an easy temptation to resist usually for the Knicks.

Backer, Holliday etc. wouldn't see the light of day on a 'chip team. 10th player on the bench types.

Courtney Lee decent move, Gallow was a really good signing. So something there...just not enough for me.
