no foul call on that play? WTF

I know that accent is specific, but I'm not sure which it is. Is it a particular NYC burrough? It reminds me of northeast Pennsylvania accent a bit.

This series is similar to Wiz - Raps 2 years ago. In game 2 they needed to fight for their lives meanwhile Celtics looked lost and defeated. I think game 3 will be closer but still I see Bulls in 4.

Why ppl don't like Boston? Watch that punk Smart showing fan a middle finger. I thought He should have being fined more often for flopping but maybe after this incident league will watch him closer.
Go Bulls!

One of the main reasons I just don't like Celtics is their flopping.

I simply hate IT and Marcus Smart for flopping left and right. Just hate watching that over and over and over and on top of it Refs falling for it. :banghead:

Expect a full on bull rush this game. Wade ,rondo, Bulter and Brook Lopez , know its closing time.

If the bulls make it to the next round, I think they get taken by WSH in 5. This is just a favorable match up for them right now. I'd be shocked if they actually defeat WSH, who is the more talented team.

My mind is still blown away by Rondo...wtf is going on. He hasn't played like this in SO long! I like most had him almost completely written off as an NBA starting calibre PG. I wasn't expecting anything positive from him at all...Wade stepping up is to be expected and his best is yet to come, but Rondo has me baffled. He's finally looking to finish layups in the paint instead of making dumb passes and bypassing easy layups.

We know playoff Rondo first hand, coasts all season then turns it on. Completely expected.

Expected? He was terrible in a Mavs jersey during the playoffs, he's looked completely done ever since. As a big Wade fan I understand fully the type of player that turns it on when it matters, but Rondo has been bench, fined, suspended...everything this year with brutal performances in the last few years. I think expected is a reach, but i'm sure some people did i guess.

The only thing i can see is that as a competitor he wants to take out Boston BADLY. He's been great! Not expected at all at least by myself.

It seems now clear to me that even if Ainge didn't care about winning a title, he made a huge mistake by not making incremental improvements to the team (e.g. getting a rebounder that can keep Robin Lopez from looking like Shaq). If the Celtics bow out in 4-5 games, then the trade value of the entire team goes down. Suddenly, all of these guys start to not look like winning players, and you would need to pay more to get guys like Butler/George. However, let's say that Ainge made incremental improvements such that the Celtics proceeded to move onto the ECF and lost in 6 games to the Cavs or something. Then, most likely guys like IT, Bradley, Smart, Crowder (or at least some of them) would have much higher trade value so that Ainge would have in a position of power when it comes to future trades.

So again, this was a big mistake because even if Ainge is playing the long game, not making improvements to the current squad has allowed the reduction in the values of his current players.

Unreal. These guys won't be happy until they just get to stand at the free throw line and wait for their foul shots all game.

Simple explanation, he's playing his old team in the Celtics

That's as good an answer as any i guess. It's about all i can come up with haha. I just hope he keeps it up, he really is fun to watch like this. I hated him in those Heat/Celtics series but always respected his game. Not many true PGs out there in his mold.
