It just doesn't add up.
He fractured it Tuesday during the game, but the news only comes out now that its fractured? So it takes 3 days for him to realise its fractured or to get an MRI? The Bulls haven't disclosed that he's out 4-8 weeks either which is the typical timing. I have a feeling he's going to play tonight, but the Bulls want the Celtics to plan for the Bulls like he's not going to play.
I just really don't understand how they rule he has a broken thumb 3 days after the injury took place.
I broke a finger very recently playing ball. I thought I had just jammed it, shook it off and kept playing. It hurt but it didn't effect my game too much. A couple hours later it had swelled up and was way more painful. I spent a couple days icing the hell out of it without any improvement before getting an x-ray that revealed the non-displaced fracture. When you first do it and it doesn't at all seem like a big deal you dismiss it. He probably didn't even bother telling the staff about it until it hadn't improved a day later.

Home crowd will help Chicago but hard to overstate how bad Grant and MCW were last game and how many problems Rondo caused IT on both ends.
Boston has a very real shot at getting back in this.

Sounds strange to me too. Hope it's not them DNP'ing him again w/o coming out and admitting it. The whole situation w/ him and Bulls has been bizarre this season.

This post is completely backwards. Mcw is a great defender but is one of the worst offensive pg's I've ever seen...
