Wow, wht a break for the Celtics, Rondo was probably the 2nd biggest reason you are down 2-0 after Butler.

You can't trade first round picks in consecutive years, and probably not 100 years in advance either. But you could be on to something

gonna be tough without rondo, but imo the bulls are still the better team. If they come out poised, they can still win

Bert I'm sorry rondo will bounce back.

Big loss for the bulls. How did he even do it?

Yeah. Their bigs will continue to own Olynyk and Amir and Horford.

Wow, Celtics just got bailed out. Did Ainge go directly to Rondo to twist his thumbs for the embarrasment he caused to the Celtics after 2 games?

Wat? Makes zero sense for the Bulls to trade for a fourth ball dominant guard. They needed to go after somebody like Kyle Korver except not 37.

Disagreed. The softness of the Celtics' bigs has been a more important factor in the series than Rondo. People are overreacting to one good performance by Rondo. If Bobby Portis was the one who broke his thumb instead of Rondo, nobody would be conceding the series to the Celtics because of his Game 1 performance. So it doesn't make much sense to do that with Rondo based on Game 2. This is the same Rondo who hadn't had a good playoff performance in 4 years before Game 2. The same Rondo who was benched for multiple games because of his poor play and even poorer attitude earlier this season.

If the Celtics come back and win the series, it won't be because of Rondo. It'll be because Stevens finally made adjustments and the Celtics' bigs grew a pair.

Rondo's biggest contributions other than the way he ran the offense were on defense and the way he rebounded. Rebounding and defense will take a hit, but the Bulls still have enough to win with. If the Celtics win the series, it won't be because of Rondo, it will have to b because of how the Celtics adjust, I agree.

On the one hand Rondo played well and whoever replaces him will have issues. On the other hand some lineups without Rondo have been good. The Grant-Butler pick and roll has been effective, but Grant can't guard Thomas. MCW can guard Thomas, but MCW can't score and Thomas could rest on defense guarding MCW. We could play Butler at point guard and play Zipser or Valentine at small forward, but is that sustainable for an entire game?

Guess it'll take 5 games to win this series. Maybe even 6. Will give Rondo more time to heal up before the Wizards series.

Not sure what Brad is doing putting Green in starting lineup, Crowder better man up. Would have rather seen Zeller in the lineup to hopefully stop Goatpez from taking all the rebounds. He looked a lot more like a Batman than a Robin last game (that was a terrible joke right?).
