Bucks might start to feel some pressure now that most have them picked to win the series. I still like the raps.

I don't think that any Bull except Rondo and maybe Valentine is capable of pushing the pace off a rebound, unless it's an obvious fast break situation. It's not so much attitude as it is ability.

Snell looking good...he no longer looks like a twig. And, seems to have changed his 3 pt shooting arc a tiny bit

Greek Freak..6-19 I guess it can happen to any star.
But Toronto forced a half court game and that's what they need to beat the Bucks. if the Bucks aren't fast breaking every 2 mins, its a struggle for them.

Yep. But everybody loves Giannis, so there won't be any posts about how this proves he's not a real superstar.

The Bucks are a very ordinary half court team. Maybe not even good enough to be called ordinary. The difficulty lies in preventing them from getting out on the break. They are good at figuring how to make a game uptempo.

I honestly think the ATL-WAS series is going 7.

I always wished we got Hardaway Jr. I was so heartbroken when we didn't. I knew early on he was a really bad defensive player but he has improved on that. Now he is a pretty solid offensive talent that can drop 25 at any point. Would love to have him on the Bulls.

Yes, I was a skeptic but he's looking good. A lesson in making quick judgments on guys early in the league.

Or maybe it was him given contract year. Still think he is a scrub. But certainly not on his way out the league scrub I thought he was year ago. And I still even if he is a Bull wouldnt give him contract extension, keeping guys like him on roster is a doom for your franchise, waste of money.
Actually he a defender non volume shooter. He has a role on a good team.
He will be a much better signing than THJr this summer. Snell will get 5M and Tim will get 17M

Garpax made two trades this "season" and both made us worse off imo.

Evaluating anyone especially young players during Hoiberg's 1st season was a big mistake. It was a huge dysfunctional mess with a lot of agendas and no leadership.
We blame Garpax for holding on to their draft picks....maybe they should have followed that process. They probably wanted time for Val and McDermott but Snell was the most athletic of all.
He was timid and he probably was more rawer than they thought. Hope it's not a missed opportunity with Snell.

I think it's over in 5. Looks like ATL has this game to make it 2-1, but this will be the only game they win. If, somehow, they blow this game, it will be a sweep. I still think Washington can come back and win this. Only a 16 pt game.

Pretty much this. If he can get the Bucks to re-up, kudos to him.

Poll question, where will Giannis go to win his first title?

Yeah. Hell no to Blake Griffin.
His rookie year, didn't he miss all or most of it, and I think he missed time in college. Bummer for him, really relies on being athletic.
Good player, but heck no.
Weneeda had a good question, paraphrasing, would you rather have Melo a couple years or Blake on a new deal?

Re: Around the NBA: Playoff Edition #2
Someone (even multiple people from memory) said just the other day we'd have no use for Snell and we didn't lose the deal.
Forget the Portis repentance thread, how about the Snell repentance thread.
Also, Grizzlies are really giving the Spurs a hot crack this year. I wrote after G1 or 2 that I thought the Griz were on the down-swing, but maybe we're overestimating the Spurs as well as such a constant. It's basically Kawhi, LMA and no other major talent at this stage. Their system ensures regular season success, but maybe those 3rd/4th key starting pieces aren't there to help carry them in the playoffs.
Still, this Grizz team is really impressing me, though. It's Gasol, Conley, a 40 year old Carter, a not as effective older ZBo, and some 2nd round/undrafted pick ups in Ennis, Green, Harrison and Selden. That's literally their whole rotation.

I liked him too and thought we would have a good chance of drafting him. What's heartbreaking is ATL wanted two 2nd round picks to trade for him and we just gave one 2nd rounder away with Taj for the crap sitting on the end of bench right now.
