WOW!

Lots of implications here: for the Pacers, for the Lakers and for us too.

You've got two young first round picks that can't even match 1/2 the productivity a 31 year old, some would say malcontent, that has bounced around the league for the last 2 years. And who was sitting on the bench for part of the season as a Bull.

Simply amazing.

Issue is the drop off from Rondo to Canaan and MCW. They had all season to get a competent back-up/starter.

Giannis is already been very good. But can he get to a next level without a respectable jumper?

I was looking at clips of the Bucks. Yeah, Giannis can collapse a D. But when he kicks the ball out, his defender would freely provide help D knowing there wont be any consequences. Then theres the infamous play where he basically threw out the game when they needed a 3, no time outs left, and he just drove to the basket.

He's arguably already a top 5 player in the entire league at age 22. I'd say he's already at the pinnacle whether he develops a consistent jumper or not.

He doesn't have the elite floor vision to be a primary ball handler. That is where Simmons will have him beat by day 1.

Well yeah he may not have the ball skills of Ben Simmons but it's not like he is Andrew Wiggins, he can read defense and get his teammates the ball when their open.

This

Wall
Beal
Oubre
Porter
Center (gortat)

Line up to close the 1st half is interesting

What's the word on this guy? How good is he? Would he fit in with the Sixers?

Barton is a pretty good reserve. But I don't trust his jumper and his defense is mad inconsistent. Also, he fancies himself a high payed starter. Not really interested in paying premium dollars for fringe starters with inconsistent game.

I think we need to wait a few years for the market to stabilize a bit before we even look at free agency as a means for adding pieces to the team. Teams are flush with all this new money and role players are cashing in.

Unless it's an established Top 25 player or a young hotshot RFA, we should keep signing bargain big 1 year guys and using our draft picks to fill the roster.

Yes he's reputable but he's trolling Simmons. Eskin likes poking at him. No Stevens is not on the hot seat. It's not even close. Stevens is one of the best coaches.

I would look into Hill but no way I throw all that money at him. I wouldn't offer him the max. I wouldn't offer him near max. If we got him I wouldn't complain but he's 31. He's too old for us. Considering it would take near max money to get him that's means he's not coming and I'm perfectly ok with that.

How would you guys feel if we signed Blake Griffin this offseason? I wouldn't like it. I think he would help and he is good and a top 20 player but he doesn't stretch the court enough for my liking. He is also injury prone. The last thing we need are more injured players. Does anyone want us to get Griffin?

Celts wiz

Two interesting line-ups

IT-AB-Jaylen-Crowder-Horford
+60 NetRtg last game

Wall-Beal-Oubre-Porter-Gortat
Most played 5 man line-up with -18NetRtg

Celtics tried to mask IT's D by letting him defend Oubre.

Celts was just shooting the lights out. AB likes to shoot at the upper left side.

Wiz need to adjust PnR D on IT. IT just feasting on Gortat's D.

Bottom line Celts doing a great job on Wall than Wiz with IT.

Stretch 4 or 3&D wing will do us more good than BG. Specially if you consider that BG will ask usage and $$.

Spurs too slow. They let Rockets do whatever they want
