Demand will strengthen, but there will still be more sellers than buyers. Last game 7 v Indy on a Sunday, I picked up a great pair of tickets below cost about four hours before tipoff.

Problem is that too many season seat holders overpaid for extra nosebleeds. On game day there are enough who are scrambling to dump them, which causes everyone with unsold tickets to drop prices.

My lessons learned from when I was a season seat holder is do not buy extra tickets and price tickets so they are sold a day or two before game day.

There's a big difference between trying to dump tickets for a game that comes up with less than 48 hours notice (like a Game 7, or a Game 1 immediately following a Game 7) and the two home games here that came with over a week notice.

Unless the Raps get run off the floor in the first two games (eminently possible), market will stay relatively firm. If they win tomorrow night, it'll spike pretty hard with the Leafs out and Jays struggling.

I've already sold Game 1 and 2. Felt I was giving a fair price and wasn't trying to gouge.

The way MLSE has priced, it really limits the amount of people willing to pay for seats. However, couple factors make it easier to sell:

- Leafs are out
- We are playing LeBron

That being said, if the Raps tank Game 1 and 2. Ticket prices will fall. If we win one, ticket prices will strengthen.

Depends on how badly you want to go.

I've seen regular season games go for stupid, stupid amounts of money because supply went.

I sold the January 5th Utah Game for $125 (my cut from ticketmaster) a ticket on a face value of $59 because I happened to list really late (I forgot to list until after new years) and there happened to be NOTHING for sale haha.

If you find prices reasonable now and want/ will go, just lock in. If you are on the fence/ can just go to a bar instead, wait.
