Tired of watching these Jays squander base runners.

How many times have we seen them them with a runner on 1st with nobody out, only to end up hitting into a double play or failing to advance the runner.. Such a frustrating team to watch.

Is Bautista usually a slow starter?? Or is the decline real..

A bit of both. The 30+ homer seasons of Bautista are done. But if he heats up a bit in the summer, I bet his overall numbers will still be average to above-average.

It's not that easy. Maybe stringing together some hits should be a priority not Steve Pearce stealing bases.

It's sad, but Tulo's bat is barely an upgrade over Goins at this point lol.

I don't think goons is even a league average hitter.

Darwin Barney pulling the Jays forward. It's been that kind of season for the bats.

At least Josh and Troy are coming back by tomorrow, right ?

Why don't they just make Barney our everyday 3rd basemen until JD comes back? Do they have to torture us by putting in Coghlan in every other game? Just doesn't make sense if you ask me.

I have to admit, our bullpen looks pretty solid right now. I like the Barnes and Smith pickup.

Since that long losing streak, we're 7-4 in games following losses, but 2-8 in games following wins. Always bet on the Jays to do exactly the opposite of what they did the day previous.

Can't complain about a 3-3 road trip through NY and TB with a short handed roster. They are doing what they have to do by treading water without JD and Tulo. At least giving themselves a chance to make a run to get back in it once those guys come back.

Heading into that first game against the Yankees, we were 8 back of Baltimore and the Yankees, and 5.5 back of Boston. As of this moment, we're 9.5 back of Baltimore and the Yankees, and we'll be 6 back of Boston when they close out the Twins. The longer we tread water, the further we sink.
