They have to share it with the occassional threesome.

I don't believe he threw the series, but I could tell that Miami took their foot off Dallas necks and tried to get LeBron 'his' to make it look a bit better for him rather than stick with what had worked up to that point. There was a period in one of the games, I guess game 4? When it looked like a muckaround game for Miami, just throwing the ball around and not playingsmart and Dallas took advantage and took control and had us shook. We couldn't recover.

At that point in Lebrons career it was much better to have won a championship without an MVP than to fail to ever win a championship. But the team definitely banded together to inflate his stats

Spo's COTY is well deserved. Playing for a good coach has to be pretty high on the list of free agent priorities. So this award along with the praise Spo's been getting from his players, could possibly influence some (undecided) free agents.

Hi guys. Congrats to coach spo for winning co-coy. Turned lotto bound heat into a headache for the top seeds in the east. Probably made it to the second round if we were the 8 seed instead of the bulls but thats that I guess

Congrats.

This is a new award voted on only by coaches, so maybe they vote on one from each conference? The traditional award is voted on by media and will be given out later.

A coaches only vote seems better though.

Even if they chose one for each conference, how the hell does Spo deserve it over Brad Stevens?

Boston doesn't have Lebron, they have Isaiah Thomas ... who used to back up Dragic ... and he won 53 games!

Congrat to Spo! While I've been very hard on him in the past, he has shown growth over the years and for that,I say congrats. In the early years, he was very robotic and unwilling to adjust, which I thought hurt the BIG 3 and held us back. But since the talent level has gone down, he has gone back to what he said when he originally became the coach and letting the talent flourish and not being so restrictive with a certain system. This year, more than anything, proved that he is always trying to win, no matter the record or what others are saying. It was very easy to for him to go "full tank" and wait for a top 3 pick, but he kept pushing and he got us within a game of the playoffs, which is frankly amazing. But with that being said, for all the love we are giving him for the second half of the year, he was also the coach for the first half. So while, he is deserving of what he did in the second half, its a full season and we ended with a 500% record which is what most thought we would be at the beginning of the season. Lets hope for some luck in the lottery and a few big moves, as it looks like LBJ isn't slowing down anytime soon.

Looks like a lot of bad basketball that we should've taken advantage of with a championship pedigree.

HEAT won the two games when DeRozan and Lowry struggled and won another when they played well. One of those three wins came on the road.

About as much as you can ask when the lone championship pedigree was 34 years old with bad knees, coming off an impressive 7-game series performance where he emptied his tank willing the team to a semifinals appearance that also went the limit.

Heat should've won games 2 & 3 easily. Game 7 we let one man beat us & never once trapped Lowry. DeRozan was MIA until the end... He was choking badly & we let Lowry go off & give him confidence late. That should've never happened. Zero in game adjustments... ZERO... That's where a real championship coach comes up big. Our guy sat back & did the same things over & over.
