I'm speculating here 100%, but my guess is he is still very bitter about going undrafted. Instead of channeling that anger the right way by competing hard and eventually provig everybody wrong, he entered our rookie camp with a poor attitude about his situation (body language) and refusing to be treated like another guy off the streets trying to make the roster. To his defense the way coaches in general for the most part communicate with those type of players (undrafted) is very differently than they would to a 1st round pick per se. Cannon being a highly sought after recruit in HS (all of his playing life for that matter) is not used to such "treatment". He doesn't feel as important-for the first time in his life he experienced a situation where a team does not want you more than you want them. He probably got called out for not running hard enough or not being receptive to coaching or being called out? Who knows..? To counter that feeling probably yelled back and demanded not to be talked down to and if they don't want him to go ahead and cut him now so that he can join another team who really wants him around. His way of spinning the situation I guess. The timing is just too crazy for it not to be something that happened in camp.

DuJuan Harris cut. Bibbs and Breida are looking like legit possibilities to make the team.

Looks like more FO housekeeping after the draft with key scouts from Baalke era removed

I had a dream this week that Breida was struggling. Couldn't adjust to the speed of the NFL and the size difference of players in the league.

When I read the headline, I was struggling to think of whose opinion I would credit. McCloughan is certainly the best of the bunch of late, but I'm not so sure QB is his position of strength. Always nice to read good things about a player you drafted, but time will tell. Hopefully with a better supporting cast (in a couple years), Beathard can develop into something.

And a competent coaching staff.

Three head coaches buried this guy on the depth chart behind a bunch of scrubs and that included RB coach Tom Rathman so I would say there were issues with Mike Davis

I was never fond of that pick.

I can't really tell with 4th round picks but a bad pick like the majority of Baalke's other pics

Top 4 will make the team.

If Collins doesn't make the cut, I'd pounce immediately.

Listening to that podcast now. Lombardi's reasoning is that there are players teams are not going to extend because of cap reasons.

So for instance, he thinks Miami will try to trade Jarvis Landry because they won't be able to extend him next year. So maybe there will be WRs available for trade or in free agency for the 49ers to track.

Next offseason Allen Robinson will be my top WR to chase down.

But Jags are likely to try to extend him right?

Probably will be extended before he even has a chance to become a FA.

This is the guy that wouldn't stfu about Foster having a bum shoulder and insisting he would miss time.

So they are gonna trade Bowman and start who at LB?

Moronic. Lombardi needs to go away.

Not so sure about that. Jags extended Allen Hurns for somewhere around 40mil over 4yrs. Marqise Lee looked to be coming into his own down the stretch. Allen Robinson is more a for himself type of guy (My feeling); he won't take the hometown discount if another team comes at him with more money.
