It makes me appreciate our former stars Yao and McGrady, and the role players who gave their all in all of those 1st round exits.

Great season guys. Hopefully this is something the Rockets can build off for the future.

That was some black market handshake...
Pretty sure Harden was the Inside Man.

Awful way to go out, but all in all its hard to complain too much. If someone told me Rockets would win 55 this year and take a 60+ win team to 6 games I would've laughed at them. Great overall season, sucks to go down without putting up a fight

Seriously though, you KNOW the spread on this game HAD to have been huge.
This isn't the first time this has happened.

MJ took a strange sabbatical after the strange death of a family member.
It wouldn't be the first time that a sequence of strange events have happened.

I want to extend my respects to Rocket Nation and to all my pals here. I know it sucks and there's nothing anyone can say to make it better, but you guys had a great year and you have many more in store, and I hope after the sting fades (and it always does), you'll remember how much you have to look forward to in the years to come. Peace, and we'll try to topple that Bay Area Beast for you and everyone else in America.

Also, go Texans and 'Stros!

Nice job in rolling up and dying Rockets. Just love how Gordon, Anderson and Harden never showed up

Not trolling, just sayin' - Ryan Anderson, what a great stretch four for a mere 19 million per season and 80 million in four seasons. Could have bought so many donuts instead.

I mean, you're totally trolling, but for the majority of the season he was the 2nd or 3rd most important piece on the team, creating huge amounts of space for the offense to operate.

Then the playoffs happened, and now we're out.

RaoulDuke79 wrote:So...Kawhi is out, the Rockets are at home, and no doubt they will be motivated and want to rebound after that horrible OT loss, and specifically Beard I would think is due to ball out after his pathetic effort in that OT.

Also, surely Mikey D will give Dekker and Harrell some minutes after realizing how stupid it is to only play a seven man rotation.

All signs point to Houston forcing this series to game seven.

Therefore, I predict we get blown out.*

Go Rockets!

I'm so glad I never changed my signature. I was tempted to after he led the league in assists.

Harden was out clubbing right after the game. :noway:

I couldn't believe people at the arena were clapping and cheering for him when he fouled out. And people at the club were chanting MVP unironically I assume.
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

Still a season where these guys overachieved versus expectations and found an identity. The loss of Nene hurt as did the loss of Game 5. They just didn't have the legs to push back anymore.

No shame in a very good and enjoyable season.
