Yeah, he'll possibly be a piece going forward but he's probably not better than Domingo Santana and we might as well let Santana and Broxton run their course before we move to the next wave.
Santana doesn't have near the versatility Cordell has. He played every position but C and P with Texas. The guy is a legit candidate for ultra utility player - a swing player Stearns and co. seem to love. I understand the comments re: hitting and CS. That's been a talking point for some time. But, I do think Cordell is a legitimately interesting prospect for the first ML infusion in the next 2 years.
