Apparently your owners didn't want to pay him more than £4,000 a week

Looks like it's over. Think it has been since November tbh

Congrats Chelsea.

That's been the downside this year. I know Leicester somewhat ran away with it last season. But at least that Cinderella story was compelling for neutrals. This season its been the total opposite. Unappealing for the most part. :(

Unappealing or not, Chelsea are absolutely deserving champions. They're very well coached, experienced & professional and play with a lot of determination. They weren't particularly good today but found a way to win, which has been true of them many times this season.

Maybe we'll see a tighter title race next year. Who knows?

I think a playoff system could really do wonders for the league to be honest.

Edit: I'd have the Top 4 teams competing at the end of the season for the title. (But, that's just the American in me)

Last august I thought that Chelsea wuold win the league but I never imagined like that.
True, various team underperform (especially City and United) but Conte just made a masterpiece: probably Chelsea will finish with over 90 points despite the super tight roster (only 13 player with over 500 minutes on the field).

Not sure how that wasn't called offside. Penalty was fair enough though, okazaki's goal was incredible.

I've never seen that before with a penalty. City luck out as usual.

Who you want to go up from the Championship playoffs Baph?

Have a soft spot for Fulham(lovely stadium and location) so hope they make it. If not them then Sheffield Wednesday. Would be great to have them and that city back. Huddersfield are kinda irrelevant. Reading are Tories and have generally been a boring team when they've been in the PL. Boring team.
Dirk Nowitzki, Steve Nash, Kevin Garnett, Toni Kroos, Pep Guardiola, Ernst Happel, Joachim Löw.

I have this exact stance. Fulham or Sheff Wed for pretty much the exact same reasons.

Watching the Fulham vs. Reading match. Reading just took the lead with a lovely Jordan Obita strike in off the post from a difficult angle. Very little quality otherwise.

It was strange but I can accept it. Of course the GK moved before the ball was kicked and 2 Man City players were in the box so going by the rules the kick should have been retaken.
