Isco, as mercurial as he is, can't be relied on to provide positional defense. Would've preferred Isco start over Bale, and dropped back for a 4 man midfield. Oh well.

Hell of a match, and I get we wanted three points and have done it before, but with half a minute left on the clock and short a man, I still can't wrap my head around the decision to high press.

I would've thought Kroos would've dropped back at least... but its 20/20... hell even putting Danilo in would've made more sense for me than someone who hasn't played in weeks over people who actually matter lol...

Our "B" Team scores a lot of goals.....

Although I need no further evidence, if Morata does not start vs At. Madrid, how can someone not be sold on Z playing Benz based on the French connection?

Marcelo scares the **** out of me every time we're playing a half decent pressing right winger, but what a fantastic player on the ball.

Also, Morata's subpar performance when Ronaldo was on the pitch is something to note I think. As much as Benz scuffed chances all game, he combined with Ronaldo a lot better I thought- seems to understand his movements better than Morata.

Going forward I don't think there's a better left back.

Besides the mighty Danny Rose of course ;)

Did Messi just attempt a free-kick paneka?

Classic, beautiful goal by Barca. I really hope they win the league. I love being able to point out that Ronaldo has only won La Liga once.

50th goal of the season for Messi.

Feels like we'll all be deep in the cold earth and Messi and Ronaldo will still be banging in 40+ a season. I can't imagine football without them, or who could possibly take the mantle of the world's best player.

Think we'll see another era of great midfielders dominating football, behind some good strikers who eke out 15-25 a season at most- Can't see any of the current crop coming close to the numbers Ronaldo and Messi put up

It's a crime that Benzema plays ahead of Morata.

Also, Bale is a surplus at this point

Idk when that day will come...

there is no one next in line for their spots...

great talents absolutely on the rise but no one, IMO, on the Messi/Ronaldo stratosphere.

Incredible finish on his left foot by Ronaldo to complete his brace against Sevilla.

What a player.

Herr Kroos.

All-time great and will move up to top 5 ever German player if he wins a Spanish league title + another CL this season.
Dirk Nowitzki, Steve Nash, Kevin Garnett, Toni Kroos, Pep Guardiola, Ernst Happel, Joachim Löw.

Ronaldo scores within 2 minutes to give Real the lead against Malaga. Could be enough to secure the league.

Dirty that. Won the ball but that was way too close to a two footed challenge.
