Freddie Freeman is the NL MVP as of now btw. There's no other player in the league that can make a better case for the award, and spare me that "his team isn't winning" bs, he's certainly doing his part to keep this team from being a laughing stock.

It'd be cool to have an MVP MVP chant when he gets up to bat in Atlanta. Of course, Kemp's likely to think it's for him - as he steps up to the on-deck area - everyone wondering why he's waiving to the crowd. :wink:

Freeman getting further tests on his wrist tomorrow. If it's anything more than just a contusion this season is about to get ugly real fast.

It's hard to be optimistic - seeing Freddy's initial reaction after getting hit. Then again, of course he's gonna react negatively right after getting hit on the wrist - that's painfull. I don't smile after stubbing my toe. Anyway, we'll just have to wait for the test results and hope for the best.

Jose Bautista is a punk. Really bat flip when down 5 runs??! He's lucky someone didn't' Rougned Odor him again lol. Hopefully one of our bullpen guys takes care of him today. :wink:

No results yet, Braves fear Freeman may have a fracture in his left wrist. Mark Bowman, says if there is a fracture Freeman could be out for 2.5 months. Braves are already looking at outside options just in case. Recently released James Loney could be an option.

Yeah, Batista is a guy the Orioles GM Duquette said publicly that he would not try to sign because O's fans hate him. I don't think there's any other player that has a distiction like that in MLB - that a GM from another team would single out and basically say Our fan base considers Jose Bautista the biggest a-hole in baseball. What the bleep was that Toronto team thinking last night. I hope nobody gets hurt tonight - on both teams, but Toronto's actions last night don't give the Braves much choice as far as fighting tonight. They killed the Braves' season and they grossly disrespected the Braves in 2 other incidents last night.

Loney was a good signing, but losing Freeman for 3 months...

Peter Gammons tweeted out that he got a text from a friend of a veteran Braves player in his circle that there will be a fight tonight! I hope Julio beans Bautista in the ribs but I hope he waits until like the 7th inning to do it unless he doesn't have his best stuff tonight anyway.
