DeRozan package to Sacramento pick 5. Panchod Ideas.

Post#1 » by iqbalpanchod » Wed May 17, 2017 6:32 pm

Hi,

I am Iqbal Panchod. Sacramento have two picks this year so they have had 10 lotto picks the past decade. Try something new? What about DeRozan, Wright, and 23 For Gay and 5th? Maybe they're tired of losing? Tanking (intentional or not) hasn't been working. I would trust management of ownership even to make the best pick. What do you think? I didn't check salary sent from my mobile. Thank you.

2 things, Gay is no longer a King and it's just nonsensical to say the Kings have had poor drafts for ten years so they should deal the pick when the truth is Divac did a good job in last season's draft. You're living in the past.

Hello, Iqbal Panchod!

I think the value is there for the Kings, but by the time the Kings' young players hit their prime, DDR may be on his way out. Just not a great fit at this point in his career.

Technically Gay has not opted out yet, only expressed intent. Vlade made that clear at the combine, which felt a little weird but he must have said it for a reason .

Derozan will be 28 next year! Skal is 20. DD is too old for this rebuild and why would you want to send him to a non competing team in his prime? Overall, I don't see the Kings trading 5 for a vet.

In all fairness I think Delon Wright is a pretty decent player

Correct me if I am wrong but doesn't The Kings owe their pick to The 76ers?

This isnt a good deal for them. DeRozan is a bit fit for them.

It was a swap. That's why the Kings have the 5th instead of the 3rd.

Kings actually won the 3rd spot in the lotto then Philly who landed at 5 exercised their pick swap option and that's how Sac ended up with the 5th pick.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. Either way the deal is bad for The Kings. DeRozan has talent but when they are ready to compete DeRozan will be on the possible downswing of his career
