You get a 1st our of Kanter! Seriously, the Lakers want to free the possible logjam at guards. We'd like to play Ball and Russell as many minutes as we can. Kanter could use the change of scenery.

We have to cut some salary if we move enes. He's good just too expensive for where we are. We'd do it without brewer, and since he expires it won't hurt your pg plans.

So it eats into our cap space in '17? I'm fine with that.

Being totally sincere Miami views him as their starting PG if/when Dragic is finally moved. I'm only making him available for 1 target at 10 plus clearing McBob's 1-year remaining.

I'm talking about taking charlotte's place the 3 teamer. I could do
Abrines/chi 2018 2nd
Or
Sabonis/single/chi 2018 2nd

If the kings value either guy the same as atop 20 protected

Indy would offer capspace and a 2018 lottery protected first for that. Loved Sabonis and his season didn't change my mind.

But at this point in the chain, Sac isn't even tagged. But if I were Sac, I'd take 14, Sabonis, SIngler, McBobs and 2nd(s) for 10.. But if the Indy first is more interesting than Sabonis+Singler.. Indy will help.

(but why is Frank still not drafted :( )

That would include 2nd rounders, cash, possibly Randle.

Let's put a pin in this for tonight and pick it up tomorrow (especially after I see how my picks at #12 & #16 shake out). But right now, I'm open to discussing Deng & Randle for Leuer & Boban.

And this time I mean it — on that note, I'm heading to bed. G'night all, catch ya in the morning.

Just a thought before you go, or the 1st one you see in the AM: We are not trading Deng (while sending Randle) and taking back 2 bad contracts in the process. We're trading Deng + Randle, if it netted us Harris in the process, even if it came w/ Leuer.

Philly... We are interested in doing the trade with you. 17, 18, PHI '18 2nd, NY '19 2nd for #10.

Utah. Your trade is a very close second right now. I think this trade is fantastic the more and more I think about it, but Lyles plays the same position as Skal. This makes the drop from 10 to 24 tough. If PHI doesn't want to do business, then I will go with your deal. Just waiting on their response.
#10 for Lyles, 24, 30 and '19 2nd

I didn't get your response on how desirebale Alec Burks is and if he changes the calculations at all. I can include him in the trade if you want him.

Alec Burks was definitely intriguing when we had Cousins. Now we have too many SGs to fit him in. If you could involve a third team to take on Burks to bring another or a better asset my way, that might make it better than Philly's offer.

I just wanna make sure we're clear, kanter does have a player option after next season. If that's okay with you then it's a done deal.

Alec Burks is available for a small asset(a second rounder or something of the sort) if anybody is interested and wants him.

Yes, he's on the books in '17 and a player option in '18. We can PM the Commish now.

Let's do this.

We like Clarkson. We really do. But he is a shooting guard who is projecting to be something like Jamal Crawford.

Currently our roster is:
PG: Fox - Galloway
SG: Hield - Temple - Richardson
SF:
PF: Labissiere - Tolliver
C: Cauley-Stein - Koufos - Papagiannis

We are looking to sign our SG Bogdan Bogdanovic this summer. As you can see, we have a logjam at SG. Adding Clarkson will just add to that logjam. Value is good, but fit is just bad. If we are bringing in that asset that isn't a pick, we are hoping that it is a SF. We have to decline.

I'm willing to add pick 28 if it gets it done now. And fwiw Clarkson is a combo guard but definitely plays the point.
