May as well just get rid of the other 28 teams and just have Warriors and Cavs. We're not winning anything until LeBron retires.

How can anyone other than fans of those 2 teams find this entertaining? Perhaps even they don't find it that interesting. The NBA needs to do something about competitive balance or they could be in for a big decline. This league is about entertainment and competition, and there is nothing entertaining or competitive about this, its just trash really.

It's not competitive at all. I don't know whether to laugh at the Celtics or cry because we are that much worse than them!

I honestly can care less... seeing 2 Superteams dominate the competition then go head to head is good for the league. You're not going to see something like this ever again given the NBA wanting to discourage this sort of assembly of players on a couple of teams.

Just imagine if the gap is this big between the top 2 teams and the Celtics. Just imagine the gap between us and those top 2 teams. Simply insane(not that our window is those teams specifically but I digress).

I also won't feel bad for the Celtics since they got picks up the wazoo for at least another year.

Watching Celtics -Cavs is depressing. First two games were over 8 min into first quater.

Few months ago i said that NBA only has two and half contenders but people attacked me that Rockets, Celtics and Clippers are contenders as well....

This is exactly why I don't want to hear Alex Martins say 'this isn't a rebuild' or Vogel shout 'who's ready for the playoffs?'

In a way the bottom feeder teams of the NBA have a unique opportunity in the sense that, no matter what moves they make, the Cavs and Warriors are locked in for the foreseeable future (unless major injuries happen).

With that in mind you have to use the next few years to position yourself to be ready to strike when those teams start to decline. So, for example, the likes of the Wolves and Sixers are probably doing the best job of that at the moment. Can the Magic fan base stomach that or do we need to sign some fringe free agent that ultimately won't make much of a difference in the big picture?

Would be a different story if Kawhi wasn't injured.

Cavs are just head and shoulders better than anybody else in the east, though.

Everyone reminisces about how great the Lakers vs. Celtics rivalry was or how dominant Jordan's Bulls teams were, but there were compelling series along the way. I've been regularly turning these games off in the first quarter. That can't be a good thing for the league.

Least amount of playoff games I've watched in the last 5 years. They are all blowouts!

By far one of the most boring playoff seasons I have witnessed watching the NBA along with being one of the dullest regular seasons to boot.

Same. NBA has nobody but themselfs to blame. They had a chance to stop superteams back in 2010 but they had to give Lebron a head.

The NBA is almost unwatchable considering everyone predicted who would be in the finals. It's hilarious they try to amp up the unpredictability when it's so transparent.

It's actually ridiculous that the playoffs are so boring. Like others keep saying everyone knew who would be in the Finals.

Now they're gonna try to market it as "2 undefeated playoff teams face off in The Finals".....

So lame.... The NBA needs to do something about these super teams, as they make the league and the players look bad. This generation of players are not competitive, they just want the easy route to a ring.

Impressive fight from the Celtics to get the win. It's nice to see the response from them after those embarrassing games at home and Thomas getting hurt. They could have easily given up when they were down by a lot earlier in the game.

Wow I thought this would be the sweep. At least we will have 1 more game of basketball in the period before the Finals.

I definitely didn't expect that comeback. Lebron finishes with only 11 points, wow.

Wow, Bradley and Smart picked the right times to step up. If Ainge wants to explore trading either this summer, he'll likely get some big offers for them now.
