Carmelo a great scorer but he's washed up. He's not the same player that we got 2011-2013. He never attacks the basket and when he does he misses badly . His time is over . His prime was gone the moment Hibbert blocked him in game 6

You are right.
Phil has to think about which players has the best chance to be a future superstar with the 8th pick. This is why I'm choosing Smith and Monk over Frank.

I hope they pick the role player over superstar

Phil has done that many times, but for some reason the Knicks still can't make the playoffs. Lets hear the excuses, but we all know if Lebron and Kyrie join the Knicks before the season start.... :D

I think we can all agree that role players are better to have than superstars

I wouldn't mind that either. After scouting him further I might like Mitchell better as a scorer than DSJ. He is fast, crafty, gets to the rim well, good spot up shooter, long with a strong frame and has a very high upside on D.

If not Frank than I want Mitchell.

Huh? DSJ is literally a better version of what Mitchell is offensively. Your hope in taking Mitchell is that he gets to where DSJ is right now on offense lol

Well DSJ is the more offensively gifted scorer but Mitchell does have the experience of playing a lot off the ball more. DSJ will beast in pick and roll situations whereas Mitchell can thrive in more pin down and curl/cut motion plays.

They are about even as far as shooting goes. The difference is Mitchell has a 6'10 wingspan with a 40" vertical and actually plays defense.

Phil's not drafting mitchell with the 8th pick. That would be the ultimate reach.

It will most likely be frank. It's time we start accepting it now.

It's all about 2018 draft. Thats when we get our 2nd star to pair with porzingis. Doncic or mpjr

Cleveland can have their choice of Oquinn, LT, or whomever to pair with Melo in that trade.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I'm leaning towards Tatum likely falling in that scenario of the Isaac going 4th. I can't see so many teams passing on Fox. But, if it happens:

Do you see Fox going beyond SAC?

Vivek is a nuts owner, so who knows what he'll do.

I hope Fox falls to us tho. Or DSJ.

Idk what I will do if Vivek is the reason for Kings to pass on Fox for Monk for example, the fanbase will go in riot imo.

Celtics fan.
We also face the Kings twice in the near future. I think it's time Yabu pays back some of that free money he's been given his entire career and bounces Fox for a nice 2 week ankle sprain.

People that need to be woken.

We're not building around a 30 something year old Carmelo anymore. Okay, now wake up.

Why wouldn't Portland just do draft picks to Clev for Love direct and cut us out completely?

Cause they need another star and not prospects to beat the warriors?
