you know king is going all out with his job on the line. expect massive trades and desperation by trade deadline to get that extension.

Nothing massive will be done but he certainly will make calls and the inform the press to create the illusion of trying to work a deal. Hence our sudden interest in Shabazz last week.

yeah but king will do anything even minor trades or whatever he can get to save his job. he knows he will get fired if he just does nothing and keeps same team. he will try to use his moves by the trade deadline to talk about he is changing the team and is making progress. he did the same thing when we were going to lose dwill, he made whatever moves he thought would keep and please dwill. he can then use this and show ownership that he is making progress.

My son is a big Thomas Robinson fan. He noticed he is not getting any minutes. Is he injured or is he in Hollin's doghouse ? I know he is limited offensively, but he plays hard and rebounds like a fiend. Thanks for any info.

We don't really post player highlight videos in this thread.

Here is the Joe Johnson thread.

Watching the Liberty game she's calling the game for Connecticut. Props to Kus!

Kustoc is awesome.l, She called some Net games last year too. She's not too bad, she's way better than Dorris Burke...I can't stand Dorris calling games

Kustoc is legit. She should be calling games for us or doing color work more often imo. She knows the game, played it herself. Problem is, we have some really good people working Nets games (including Ian Eagle, who is like top 5 to me in the business) so I am realistic about why her opportunities to call games are far few in between for now. I'd like to see her become the color commentator with Ryan Rucco (sp?) when he subs in for Ian because I think she's better than Donny Marshall (no disrespect). she also gets info direct from coaches and players.

It's even sad to me that this is even a conversation. I hope she ends up doing better things like how Michelle Beadle has done after she left.

And hell no...Doris Burke knows more basketball than most. lets not even go there.

I hope the Nets find a way to keep her. She is knowledgeable, attractive, and has a great attitude. Others will try to poach her.

She'll get national offers in no time. Thinking Turner or ESPN will step up real soon, and hopefully she stays with us. Think she should get a nod to be a sideline reporter for the postseason, the way Ian Eagle gets work during the postseason on TNT.

Yeah, Nets have always had a top notch broadcast crew. Sad it's been wasted on multiple seasons of losing.

*bleeping* Infor ad

Those jerseys are on point though!

I WISH we had a flair of that blue in our regular black/white uniforms.

Interesting that you bring her up. When I hear Sarah's voice, it reminds me of Burke. (unfortunately kinda annoying)

That's why she's a WNBA announcer
Great sideline reporter for Brooklyn though.
