Also, Sunderland accepted a £30 million fee for Jordan Pickford from Everton. I like him as a keeper but that's just ridiculous even by today's standards.

Shouldn't one of the best teams in europe, actually do something in europe? Not to **** on Tottenham because they've been doing very well in the EPL; but until they stop **** the bed in the CL/EL they can not be called one of the top teams in europe.

Of course but all I'm saying is, is that they have the core squad to really push on and actually show it. The pieces are there, they just have to execute now.

What? FB is the hardest position in modern football and there are so few decent FB that even an good FB will cost at least 20m.
If I was in the Spurs managment I never sell Walker for less than 55-60m.

I can tell you why there are few world class FBs.
Because nobody wants to play the position for their entire career as its the position where you are required to run the most.

However, to find a decent FB, as practiced by top clubs like Bayern, Real or Barca for years you can always sign a decent midfield talent or just get them straight out of your academy.
Bayern been doing that for years with Lahm, Alaba and Kimmich. Literally always works.

The four or five existing world class fbs you obviously would not sell. Walker does not really belong in this category...so might as well sell for such a good offer.

Gianluigi Donnarumma won't extend with Milan and it's now being strongly rumored that he will go to Real Madrid.

Did not see this coming at all but man would that be a huge signing for Los Blancos. :D

I think the weird thing with Walker is that he 'wants' to leave the team now. He's been with the club his entire senior career and he bails now? He's clearly taken a step up in play since Poch has arrived, whereas he was at a replaceable level in the close years prior. I'm fine letting him go, b/c our proposed replacement targets are quite nice, we have Trippier, and it all sounds like he'll go for quite the rate.

He must be really tempted by the City money for what may be his last large contract.

I think they know that. They have so much talent but there needs to be some sort of adjustment. Watching England Hotspurs is similar the team should never have bottled it against Scotland and France especially with Kane being in such incredible goal scoring form.

Harry Maguire to Leicester. He may look like a work horse but this could turn into an excellent signing for the foxes.

I think the reason is more about not having Real Madrid support about this tax fraud allegations.
i remember for those who don't know yet that president of Real Madrid asked to the biggest newspappers in spain and Madrid media (Marca, AS) to not refer Cristiano as Real Madrid player but instead, "portuguese player", also to not use any any Real Madrid jerseys...

West Ham looking to sign Giroud.

Would be a good get for them, imo.

Hopefully that means that this summer's big signing is a striker (and a big enough name to keep Sanchez, Ozil, etc around).

Perhaps they need to free up money for Mahrez.

Reece Oxford(West Ham) is currently and Gladbach for his medical.
After that he should be introduced by Gladbach and loaned for next season.

Salah to Liverpool. Probably the best signing they'll do all summer.

He's a really good player, but he needs open spaces to be effective. When defenses were tight against us he was the one who suffered more.

Van Dijk will be done soon. LOL at Liverpool leaking to the press early and instead of paying 50M for VvD we're being extorted into paying 70M for him now. What a club.

They seem super adamant on getting Naby Keita. Not sure if RB Leipzig sell though.

Paulinho In Talks With Barcelona

Obviously nonsense but probably the most ridiculous headline I've seen in a while.
