I have been trying to figure out the market for him. Who would risk assets. Who is in win now mode. Not sure about the inner workings of these being possible, but here's how I see it;
Charlotte - Zeller, Kaminsky, MKG
Detroit - Drummond, Harris, Jackson, KCP
Milwaukee - Parker, Maker, Brogden
Orlando - Vucevic, Gordon, Hezonja, Payton
Washington - Porter, Oubre
Minnesota - Dunn, Lavine, Gieng
Oklahoma City - Oladipo, Sabonis
Pheonix - Bledsoe, Bender, Chriss, Len, WarrenIf I were Charlotte (Jordan influence), Orlando (desperate), Minny (they would be REALLY good), Phoenix (Need to consolidate) I would take the risk. Do any of those beat Celtics offers or Cle (Love), I think so.
What if PG's agent goes to them and flat out says, "You have zero chance of even making the ECF. I wanna win right away. I'm not interested in joining your club. There's no way in hell I'm resigning there." If you're Phoenix or Orlando or whoever, do you still throw away your assets?
That narrows the field. If I'm putting myself in PG's shoes, Pistons, Magic, Suns, and Hornets have little appeal to me. Playing in the West isn't ideal either if making the Finals is a goal.
