Don't want Ferguson at #14. I'm an Aussie, I saw enough of him play for my Adelaide 36ers. Don't get me wrong, kid has talent and athleticism. But he's a project in every sense of the word.

Frank Isola tends to think the Knicks are locked in on him. Even mentioned they had a scout babysit him this past season.

I think the Heat should trade the pick. The likelihood the Heat acquire a player that will even be a starter is low. The Heat simply just aren't good drafters. They are excellent at finding undrafted talent, but they are better off trading the pick. Especially if they can use it to acquire either more picks, or to acquire a "chip" for a blockbuster deal down the road.

The Celtics and Warriors for the next couple of years will be the main contenders. Possibly the Cavs as well. Right now is the time for the Heat to continue to build a solid foundation of players that they can use to make them a player away from championship contention. Similar to the way they won in 2006.

What is very interesting is that if we draft someone that does not fit our needs, it may very well be that we are drafting for someone else.

We will have to hang around after the pick to see what is happening.
