Pacers & Bulls wanted Kyrie

FWIW if the Pacers would send No. 17 to Houston for Beverly, I would've considered it.

I know that would probably be a minority opinion on this forum.

Hard situation.

Ultimately I would have done it too, because I think Kyrie will be gone after LeBron leaves..

But only if we somehow got Beverley too.

And I say that as a huge Kyrie fan. So I'm also happy that we won't be trading him.

Plus, it would be weird to trade the guy who made the biggest shot in franchise history one year after he made it..

I mean at this point, just go all in on one season. If you win, everyone re-ups.

Nah not with him wanting to go to LA.

Was all for Kyrie/butler centric trade.

I think that if we don't win a Championship next year, we're in the Pacers position with Kyrie. I'm also a little worried about his knee tbh.

Yeah his knee could be an issue for a long time.

We should definitely have little regard for the future and go full on win now. Kyrie isn't even that good but his trade value is huge.

Yeah Butler and Bev or PG and Bledsoe would have been great. Apparently suns offered 4 and bledsoe for kyrie. Pacers were in talks as the thrid team.

We blew it. Could have been so good.

Lebron wouldn't give assurances to Gilbert. Bledsoe/George for Kyrie

Yeah if LBJ walks, the plan had better be to trade Kyrie.
