He's an interesting big. He has size and length. His best asset is blocking shots but not sure how his overall game is. Hope he does well and the Bulls sign him.

He is perfect big to play with Markkanen. 7'0 C with 7'6 wingspan, 9'3 reach, rim protector and his best asset is blocking shots

EDIT: confirmation

Summer League Thread

Post#32 » by JimmyJammer » Sat Jun 24, 2017 4:14 pm

With all these talks about whether it was right and whether it was wrong to trade Butler and to draft Marhannen, I am already sensing that this forum is going to be on fire when Summer League finally gets here. Dunn, Payne, Valentine, Markhannen, the whipping boys of this forum, will be put under a giant microscope. Lord, help us, if any of them has a lousy outing. I expect Jok to get an invitation from the Bulls as well. This is absolutely going to be one of the most anticipated Summer League in the history of the Bulls franchise. I can't wait for the madness.

If you want Bulls to be fun and win games watch Summer League, if you want Bulls to be fun and lose games watch regular season. So, yh, we gunning for that SL championship. Let's get that trophy under the belt.

Yes we have some fond memories of Summer League.

Still remember Tony Snell & Doug bombing 3's, the 'drain duo'. Yikes.

well, you have a point there; however, the negativity that will come with any poor outing is of epic proportion. While a dominating performance in Summer League does not necessarily predict future success in the regular season, but bad performances are usually over-analyzed, at least until the preseason.

You guys have a point, the negativity is all-encompassing to me after so many years of Bulls fandom and seeing what's gone on.

I have to make a conscious effort to not be a negative nancy/debbie downer for other fans who still somehow manage to muster some optimism

The drama at the end of the Rose era and the subsequent butler years truly broke me as a fan. I am a completely rejuvenated basketball fan now that we've taken this rebuilding direction. The same old team, playing that flat boring style of basketball that was just good enough to be competitive, was so exhausting to watch. I'm just taking the mindset now of resetting everything back to 0 and judging from there, but I am excited for the future.
