I'm really loving the "Outside of Westbrook averaging a triple double his season wasn't MVP worthy" arguments on the GB from people upset he won.

Like yeah. But averaging a triple double is pretty damn impressive

I would've voted for Kawhi, but don't begrudge Russ's win. His season wasn't without its flaws but nonetheless, pretty spectacular.

I am gonna throw up ...

Been there discussed it million times ... will you ever get there ?

There are many Rubios in Europe ... Rubios are not rare in Europe.

Mantzaris could be considered better or similar. Sloukas is way better. Teodosic is better. Llull is better.

Are you not watching how modern basketball is heading ?

Tall PGs who can't shoot the 3 are about to be extinguised from starting point guard role
In fact many of them are about to exit the NBA or already out.

Vasquez
Marshall
MCW
Exum
Elfrid Payton
Sved
Rubio

These are the first names that pop out... At least trust Tibodeau, if he wants him out of there, he doesn't worth it.
Wolves have a ton of cap space and still want him gone.

I feel like Fotis St is a guy you could really take advantage of if you happened to play him in fantasy basketball.

My metaphor about Rubio ...

Rubio is like your beatiful blond secretary who is not productive and you wish she had a brain

That's actually a simile and it's a terrible one.

I think the Bulls are going to experience all the stages of grief, probably twice.

Have we talked about LaVar Ball being on Monday Night RAW? Because I'm not sure what the **** I just watched, but I'm 99% sure that he went completely off script and no one else knew what the hell was going on...

This guy and Lakers fans are a match made in heaven.

I watched a little of it because I was intrigued by the retired players but it got old quick. It's too similar to NBA basketball played at a much lower level.

I watched most of of it. Overall I was little surprised at the quality of the first two games, but I had low expectations. The last game i thought was bad, refs just let them beat each other up. I think they're onto a good concept though and if they can smooth out the details and get some bigger stars combined with younger retired players it could be alright entertainment for the summer. Basically if you can get guys 1-2 years out of the league rather 5-6. Plus if you can get the KGs and Paul Pierce's to play. Thing is of course going forward stars anywhere near that level will not need money so they'd have to do it just out of their competitive nature, love of the game, and to keep relevant/famous/on tv.

Also, if DeShawn Stevenson could hit 3s like that during his career he'd probably still be playing.

Big 3 was awesome. It's great seeing all these forgotten mid-2000s role players in a super competitive environment. Kudos to Ice Cube for actually making it legitimate and not just a gimmick ala And-1 mixtape stuff. I think you're gonna see a bunch of NBA guys show up to games (Harden was there on Sunday).

youre really underselling blake. its sad. its like youve never seen him play. blakes a better offensive facilitator than sid. if i had both of them on my team, id have blake bringing the ball up and running the offense. youre also underselling his defense which is better than bad. im not going to tell you its great, but acting like sid is comparable to gary payton is equally ridiculous.

You can get similar offensive production just by having a good pg who can make the whole offense efficient, as has been proven when Blake and Amare both missed significant time and the Clippers and Suns hardly missed a beat thanks to CP3 and Nash. Losing guys like that just redistributes the scoring. They're no better than guys who are less spectacular on offense but more reliable and consistent in all other facets of the game. Marion and Deandre were slightly more important to their respective squads.

It wasn't really Sid's job to facilitate the offense, and it sure as hell isn't Blake's. There's no point in comparing them skill-by-skill anyway, because it's not an asg event. It should be all about impact. Harden hits more 3's than CP3, does that make him better? Sid did a lot of stuff better than Blake - stuff that matters a lot more than pretending to be a pg when it's not your job. He was DPOY twice, universally acknowledged as one of the best defensive guards ever, and a starting all-star - an award that hardly even takes defense into account.

He's nothing special and he's squarely in that second tier of all-stars.
