I'm pretty happy Griffin is signing with the Clippers. If Hayward comes to Miami, we have to find a way to keep James Johnson and Waiters. It seems impossible, but Riley is really good at this.

Difficult but Not Impossible.... prolly only Riley can pull it off..

-- Hayward gets near max and after stretching McBob, Waiters is signed with a starting salary of ~10 million/year

-- JJ gets the MLE (starting at ~8.4 million/year)

Both JJ and Dion's contract are renegotiated next year since we have their Ealry Birds rights and they "truth the process".... this is a win-win for both sides since Dion/JJ will be making overall the same amount they would be elsewhere in the long run while playing for deep playoff runs
