Griffin to Heat - Done deal

so glad that didnt happen. I like all the quick big name signings. Wish we took care of one of our guys. With all the moves out West Hayward is a guaranteed allstar if he comes east. PG just took his allstar spot.

Aaron Afflalo
Brandon Bass
Michael Beasley
Aaoron Brooks
Michael CArter Williams
Tyreke Evans
Gallinari
Jordan Hill
ILyasova
Terrance Jones
Derrick Rose
Christian Wood

my list of free agents worth a look depending on how things shake out.

1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

I wonder if dumping Dragic with McBob is an option. And then sign Hill and Dion

Hill + Dion will cost much more than $23M (Dragic + McRoberts).

Most of these players are not good enough for the Heat.

Also, Beasley has been here three times and we've never renewed his contract, not even for minimum. Maybe it's best that he finds his success elsewhere?

Finally, Tyler Johnson no longer has veto rights for trades.

I remember 11-30 with these guys. ^

With Ellington out it's gonna be around 30mil. So Hill ~ 4/65 and Dion ~ 3/40 would work, I guess

Schroeder (15,500,000)

Kyle Lowry will also pass him this offseason.
Jrue Holiday and George Hill might too.

I doubt Hill will get anything more than 17 per

He didn't take the Teague deal. I'm pretty sure it was offered to him first. So I'm guessing he thinks he can get more.

River's deal is decent, actually.

$11m per season for a player who has only ever cracked a PER of 11.5 or higher once, has never had a positive BPM, and only just cracked positive VORP this year. It's not the Deng deal, but that's really not good.

He's improved, but he's gone from a player who doesn't belong in the league to a deep rotation player - it's taken almost 8000 minutes though.

No, at those prices it's Hill over Dragic. You're moving McBob to give Hill a deal that not much lower than Dragic's.

If you want to add in Dion then add in a FA that fits in the space between Dragic and Dion/Hill. It's more than McBob.

IDK. A good defender and a decent shooter(54.5% TS). His contract is not a steal or something, just an average one

Yeah Dion's more valuable than Ellington/McBob.

So, is this something you want to do after Hayward has committed, so that we can resign JJ & Dion?

I would say badish, or below average return for cost.
In my opinion he's only become this by being fed minutes - there's lots of players out of the league who showed as little as he did in his first contract.

I'm probably harsher because he's the benefit of NBA nepotism at the highest degree, from someone I don't really like (Doc).

Not really, just an idea how we can keep JJ/Dion with a good pg on the team
