How were you Hoodwinked. That would mean that you thought Mills was going to be great at his job

i thought he was gonna be smart enough to just hold the fort until the next guy was hired. steve never had to do anything. he could keep this job forever and just watch other people f*ck up. now he put himself on the clock with this move. this man don't even understand job preservation.
I don't like it but I'm not surprised -- GM's want to improve the team's talent and he obviously believes in THj more than many of us. GM's are going to want to put their stamp on things, even Steve apparently, and it's very hard to resist the temptation to "Go for it."
I saw it coming and that's why I wanted Phil to stay. That said, maybe Timmy becomes a really good third scorer type and then his contract is more than fine. He does have the offensive talent for a good or really good 3rd. Great 3rd scorer or good 2nd? I don't see it. But he has some tools. A range of good scoring tools.
I think Frank and Hernangomez could be in jeopardy too. Dolan's firing of Phil sent a clear message ... even if it's not a direct message: Don't keep losing, don't bring all that heat, turn it around.
