With the addition of THJr., what are realistic expectations for next years draft? I'm fairly confident I can think of at least 5 teams who look worse than us, which leaves us out of a top 5 pick. Are we looking at a pick in the 7-10 range again? And if that's the case, who looks like a promising prospect who we can realistically draft?

Give me all of the Miles and let's go to war in 2020 with old man Melo back ring chasing lol

Dude we are going to be the worst team in the league next year.

The only team that may be worst than us is atlanta.

Doncic and mpjr are legit possibilities.

You think Brooklyn will be better than us?

Yes. That lin-russell backcourt alone gets them at least 25 or more wins especially in the east.

Lin
Druss
Levert
carroll
Mozgov

That's a 30 win team in this eastern conference.

Hamidou Diallo, Miles Bridges and possibly Kevin Knox (if he slips) all are wing players expected/projected at the 7-10 range.

Wouldn't really mind Diallo tbh.

Frank Ntilikina
Tim Hardaway Jr.
Hamidou Diallo
Kristaps Porzingis
Willy Hernangomez

Here are some of his recent play in the U19 World Cup:

I honestly think we're going to win around 30-35 games again with KP taking another leap forward, our young guys all improving and I'm anticipating the additions of Harkless and Rondo which should improve our defense around the board.

That's why I'm not sweating Porter or Doncic. It's just not realistic for us to win 20-25 games

bamba, porter, doncic, ayton this feels like a 4 man draft and the wheels kind of fall off after that in terms of game changer potential.

Troy brown jr is realistic

Insane court vision for a 6'7 guy that can also shoot

I haven't done much research, but the first look at this draft is pretty impressive.

Mo Bamba definitely stood out as someone that is extremely intelligent, great attitude and has incredible measurements.
Wouldn't mind him at all if we went big in the draft. Ayton is also very interesting if we go that route.

Otherwise definitely intrigued by Doncic and I see a lot of potential in Diallo.

doncic opens up everything. frank can become more of a lead guard that controls tempo and defends while doncic can be your go to guy making plays and decisions with the ball, he's pretty much a 6'8 point forward i love his fit.

frank
hardaway
doncic
porzingis
willy

thats probably the most unselfish, promising young core we've ever had that actually makes sense and fits together.

most unselfish young core since those clyde/reed teams. clyde was 25 and reed was 28 when they won the knicks first chip.

I would love for us to be in position to take Doncic, but if we pick a little later than that how about some love for Robert Williams? An explosive leaper that would greatly compliment KP or Hernangomez who's working to extend his range. He would add more wingspan could make for a great picknroll partner.

Out of full transparency that vote came from me. I think I'm the only one that includes Ayton in that Porter/Doncic tier.

It's been far too long since we had two-way athletic bigs who can rebound the ball well. Ayton can be developed into that cheat-code bigman that could do anything on the court. I'm not sold on KP being a full-time Center and not ready to anoint WHG as the undisputed starter.
