Just because you don't like what was said or don't agree with it doesn't make it garbage. If anything this might be a reflection of the current mess knicks FO and support staff is in.

I was there again.

And, same as always, these aren't my thoughts. All things that were told to me. If it was my thought, I would have clarified it as such.

FWIW, Dotson was good, but it is SL. A lot of the things he did, he wouldn't be able to do in the league.

And Kornet did finish better around the rim than expected. He also gave solid rim protection and moved well as the roll man in PnR. That is where I think that came from.

Thank you for the insights. While they are not YOUR opinion, I would tend to believe that they are the opinions of people are who are a lot closer to being RealGM's than we are :D

While we may disagree (like the entire fan base did with drafting Weis) it's good to have at least a partial forecast. I hope one of the placeholders isn't Mario Chalmers.

Please don't compare Frank to Porzingis a known commodity who went at number 4 where he was supposed to go. He was expected to be as good as he is. It was only a matter of how long it would take to get there. Frank is a unknown who barely played. He has shown very little in terms of talent and skill to this point. There isnt a question with him in terms of when he will show his talent but if he has it at all. You don't take him in one of the deepest drafts in years at number 8. It was a mistake then, now, and in my opinion for as long as Frank is able to stick in the league.

Man, its tough to watch these Dennis Smith Jr. summer league games, the broadcasters speak of the Knicks every game saying how their fans etc... are wishing they would have selected him instead of Frank, got to admit I would have no issue at all if they had taken Smith Jr. even if I haven't seen Frank play in summer league to compare the two. Smith has that it factor and is in control, can pass, his shot has been pretty good, he can drive to the basket with that 48" vertical... just an overall talented player. To be fair maybe if Frank played in summer league he would also have been impressive but I just think Dennis Smith Jr. should have been the pick. Not sure if it was just Phil who wanted Frank or if they all did but man does Frank have to be legit or this is going to haunt them for the next decade plus.

I'm also confused why Phil thought Frank was the pick based on most who do not feel he is even ready play, I mean Phil didn't have much longer with the team as it was, why invest in someone who is longer term instead of taking an American player who was rookie of the yr in the ACC and showed he can play against top college competition... I just can't see how they came to the conclusion to go with Frank... they wanted to run the triangle and thought he was capable but if he wasn't capable of doing it from day one why let Phil make the pick.... looking back I just wish Dolan would have fired Phil before the draft (I wonder if that changes who they select).
