Should we really be upset?

Pineda is hot garbage. We're better off calling up Chance Adams to take his place.

Pineda will get a second opinion on the injury. But if he needs Tommy John wouldn't be the worst thing. I think it effectively means yankees best hope would be the second WC at best. But moving on definitively from Pineda would be good long term for this team.

Haha. Panda. What an overrated player. Giants let that guy go...and never looked back.

Pineda's ginger arm and load of questions is one of the reasons why I suggested the Yankees should have gone with a 6 man rotation in stretches. They just do NOT have the horses 1-5 to BE that team.

Pretty much if the Yanks make the Wild Card, they're going to have to slug their way to it.

http://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/20043341/new-york-yankees-say-michael-pineda-needs-tommy-john-surgery

"In addition, first baseman Greg Bird, who has missed most of the season with a bruised bone in his ankle, may need surgery for a condition called os trigonum (http://www.foot-pain-explored.com/os-trigonum.html), which is excess bone growth in his foot.

The ankle injury may be causing inflammation in his foot that Cashman said could likely lead to surgery, though Bird still needs to see another doctor before the team, Bird and his agents discuss options.

If Bird has surgery, he would be out at least another two months. He missed all of last year after shoulder surgery."

The remaining Yankee games this season will be sponsored by The Hospital for Special Surgery.

Oh well time to move on from Pineda. This saves us from offering him a contract next year. Bring on Chance Adams and lets see what this kid can do in the majors.

Pineda will be 30 when he returns, he's done as a Yankee.

Dang I was hoping he pitched well at least till the All star so we can maybe get something decent in return for him at the trade deadline, guess not. Might be time to bring up Chance Adams or let Chad Green start, he's been dominating in the pen and just struck out the side against Boston.

It looks like Cessa might get the first crack since Girardi wants Adams to work on his control a little more before coming up.

Ya no way is Green gonna be in the rotation he's the Yankees best guy out of the pen right now. I would think Adams would be up by August why not give him the experience and you wouldn't have to worry as much about innings limit, we freaking need starting pitching badly, Cessa is the short term answer.

Well here we go gotta get through a 1 run game with Betances and Chapman oh boy.

Really tough way to start the second half after the way we finished the first half. Could've erased a lot of those negative feelings. Now gotta face Sale tomorrow Chapman blows the 18th save of the year for the Yankees.
All-Time Draft

SG- Earl Monroe/James Harden/Dana Barros
SF- Billy Cunningham/Michael Finley/Chet Walker
PF- Elvin Hayes/Dolph Schayes/Tom Chambers/Danny Manning

Chapman is like the intimidating looking boxer that gets knocked out in the 1st round due to being tired 1 minute into the fight.
