This is embarrassing now smh we was having such a great season until what was suppose to be our "strong suit" is biting us in the butt.

Its one thing to have scrubs in your pen (every team has one) its another thing when those scrubs are the best guys in your pen.

Chapman hasn't looked right since he came back. Man I miss Mo. Most of these relievers are so finicky.

After letting all my frustrations marinade. I've come to the conclusion, the offense performed as well as can be expected.

Defensively, I thought the Yankees were so-so. Critical error in the 9th, Didi tried to do the Jeter-ian jump throw to second too high, pulled the short Torreyes off the bag, thus prolonging the inning and ultimately leading to the walk off hit. A real backbreaker.

Pitching wise, Montgomery didn't have command but kept the Yanks in the game for 4 innings, the pen was dynamite except for Chapman who I don't believe is back to his self.

3 more games in Beantown. Severino is on the mound to get one back for us!

Perhaps we will be so far out now that we won't be buyers and instead will be sellers.

Torreyes gotta go though. Iike the kid, but he will never be a reliable defender at his height and he's a liability

I told people that were trying to anoint him as a core piece that his weaknesses would become apparent once you give him full time work. That's not who he is.

When I saw that error I was thinking about Gleyber. :( We could've used him so bad man.

We can't become sellers neither, imo. I think we should just stay were we're at.. maybe pick up a SP that won't cost a lot.

You know Mecca, we may not have a choice but to pick up a starter now. Our rotation is shot this year and next. We are two pitchers short and still lacking the bonafide ace. Adams is in the fold, but no one else is ready in AAA.

Adams is also on an innings limit man. And he's getting very close to it. To the point he won't be available in September.

Personally, I would throw Adams in the bullpen this year as he is a former reliever. Try to get Sanchez more adjusted to 1B as soon as this year, and make a move for a SP in the Sonny Gray mold.

They are not gonna play sanchez at first in the middle of the season. Maybe it's something they'll do the last month if they are definitely out but otherwise don't get your hopes up on that. Heck they might not do it at all until he's a little older.
