The Knicks had no chance at Rondo; the moment Tim Hardaway Jr was given all that mad money. Rondo may be hated by 20+ teams and 30 coaches in the league but he KNOWS he's good and deserves good coin. I'm sure he wanted $71M that Hardaway Jr is getting.

I'm also glad the New Orleans Pelicans or Delicates realized Jrue Holiday ain't no point guard.

Is NOLA going to do the 2-point guard 2-center 1-wing lineup? Interesting.

Nice. Caleb Swanigan and the Trailblazers made it to the Vegas SL Final Four. What's up with Zach Collins though? Being prematurely labeled as the only bust in the Top 10 (aside from Frank who did not play in Summer League).

Dennis Smith Jr just threw up two of the worst looking shots I've seen in awhile. One on a drive that was Shved-esque and the other was a fading 3 point airball while trying to draw the foul.

Back to back! :noway:

According to ESPN...

Utah Jazz general manager Dennis Lindsey said the team will not go into rebuilding mode after losing Gordon Hayward in free agency, instead focusing on showcasing center Rudy Gobert.

After Hayward bolted for the Boston Celtics, Lindsey said the Jazz will focus on having a defensive-minded team to counter the high-octane offensive teams in the West.

"We feel like we can build defensively around Rudy Gobert," Lindsey told The Salt Lake Tribune. "We look at him, and he's a top-10 player and unique defender. So we [want] to build a team around his talents."

Hayward's signing left Jazz coach Quin Snyder with a huge hole to fill offensively, but the Jazz have focused on signing quality depth players such as Thabo Sefolosha, Jonas Jerebko and Ekpe Udoh. Prior to free agency, the Jazz traded for point guard Ricky Rubio from the Minnesota Timberwolves.

I admire the Jazz's resolve. But imagine them rolling the tank for one year and ending up with Porter or Doncic to replace Hayward.

Mavs didn't need him today but that was a much needed stinker from DSJ.

1-6 FG, 0-3 from downtown and 1-3 from the line.

What's crazy is that I was still curious what people were saying and I went to Twitter to check. No joke people were still saying **** like "can't believe those stupid Knicks passed on Dennis Smith!" Even after a bad game..

For PGs, decision making is is key. I don't care how athletic he is, is he can't make smart decisions with the ball, it's a waste. That's what Phil was talking about when he spoke about the draft before he was fired.

People also said the poor Knicks missed out on drafting Okafor, too, and had to settle for the tall Euro guy with the difficult name. People say so much shyt. We really shouldn't pay attention to everything we hear.

He's gonna be like a less explosive Rose, maybe slightly better playmaker.

All Western Conference semifinals in Vegas. Even in SL there is an imbalance of power.

Return to New York Knicks
