I wouldn't say it's an issue, it's just that a lot of people believe that if you're a fan of a team - that team is your only team.
My friend is the same. He's a Jays fan but is also a Dodgers "fan". I don't like it because it seems that he's only an LAD fan when Toronto isn't winning.
Not sure if it's the same for you but it's just not a common practice for the die-hards.
I like my own teams, I just think being a die hard fan doesn't give me reason to knock a casual fan or someone who likes multiple teams. At the end of the day it doesn't ruin my quality of life
That's fine, no one has said otherwise.
It's just that those who choose to stick to one team are the ones who don't really have anything else to fall back on. Therefore they're more experienced with going through the thick and thin of their beloved team.
Die-hards will always knock multi-team fans because of that and that is quite fair, imo.
