So was Jerry Sloan and know how that worked out with Deron Williams. The talent was there and it lead Williams to be a top 3 player at his position but ultimately got his coach fired and it went downhill quick for him right after. Nobody can assume anything...good or bad. Need to let actions speak and it's too early for that. We just need to sit back and let it all unfold.

I think the one that needs to stfu with the hyperbole is you. Here are the last few summer league mvps:
Tyus Jones,Kyle Anderson, Glen Rice Jr, Jonas Valanciunas, Josh Selby, Damian Lillard.

Out of all those only Damian lived up the the hype. The rest are either bench warmers or scrubs. But yeah let's put all of our stock on summer league.

He was balling long before summer league and was a huge part of UCLA turning things around. There are certain people that have very special skills that you can see very early in their life. Hopefully this convo can take place in another thread. This one is for our guy Frank,

He was balling long before summer league and was a huge part of UCLA turning things around. There are certain people that have very special skills that you can see very early in their life. Hopefully this convo can take place in another thread. This one is for our guy Frank,

Ball sure can pass and see the floor, can't he? I haven't seen a guy with eyes like that since, dare I say...
I look forward to how he plays in the NBA, I say most of his game is gonna translate.

Ball is the best passer to come out of college in 20+ years. His anticipation and willingness to pass, plus his vision, is rare. Concerns about his athleticism are overblown to me in today's spread-the-floor, PnR-heavy league. He'll never be an elite scorer and will be dreadful on D but in a few years he'll likely be the best passer in the league.

I haven't gotten to see too much of him, his passing is from above, but is his defense so bad? That is a bit sad, was looking forward to him being a more complete player. He looked fairly athletic and long...

Ball is a great passer but his shot is garbage. He can reach Kidd levels with his passing. Worst case scenario he becomes Ricky Rubio.
