Cavs get: Cousins and Bledsoe
Cavs out: TT and Irving
Cavs get a better center (but offset by Cousin's one-year deal) and a replacement for Irving at PG. Great return but next summer would be important FA time with both Cousins and Lebron up for contracts.

Pelicans get: TT and Irving
Pelicans Out: Cousins, picks
Pelicans get a replacement for Cousins in TT and Irving, both signed for at least 2 years

Phoenix get: garbage for now :D
Phoenix out: Bledsoe
Bledsoe doesn't fit in the youth movement in Phoenix. This trade proposal must be extended so a decent picks/young player package can be constructed as return for Phoenix.

I like this a lot for the Cavs and for the Pels lol but not quite sure whats in it for the Suns. Do either the Cavs/Pels have any young assets/picks to give them?

That's because there is NOTHING in that trade for the Suns. Assets coming back listed as garbage (LISTED... not my words), reasoning for Suns listed is he doesn't fit timeline, so trade a 26 yo for really nothing. Dude, you just arent even trying, why post it for the suns? And no, there isnt one young asset the Pels have that would equate Bledso right now.

Cavs are in a MUCH better situation than Indiana was with George !! George had 1 year left not 2, and he said he was leaving for Lakers after the year is up. Not sure how that's a better situation than Irvings !!! Anyways Cavs have promoted the assistant GM to GM, who has a good reputation, and he was the final trigger for the George trade that was agreed upon, but fell apart through no fault of his...but Pacers GM didn't want George in the same conference. They are going to get a better (maybe much better) deal than Indiana because the new GM isn't going to want to look like an idiot in his first major trade....hopefully he doesn't try to hold out for TOO much. As far as Kyrie for IT, no way would the Cavs do that deal. Cavs have to look at getting some young assets back (as Kyrie is the only real young asset they have now), so they aren't going to want to get back someone 4 years older and their contract is coming up a year before Kyrie's. I am sure the Cavs would consider IT plus younger/cheaper assets, but doubt Boston would do that.

Lebron deserves to play with no all-stars after creating 2 super teams, and destroying the league.

Boston for sure shouldn't. They have a team which went to the ECF last year, have improved it with Hayward and are seeing their EC rival, which was a lot better than them last year, imploding right in front of their face. They can possibly start going to the finals now instead of 3 years from now, fact that would also do wonders for their youngsters.

Why in the hell should they ever consider helping them?

Boston would have to sen too much in the deal along with IT to make the salaries work, and Irving would just be a minor upgrade. Plus, IT wants to be in Boston and Kyrie doesn't.

Kyrie to Phoenix for Bledsoe and a prospect (Alex Len?) probably makes the most sense. Bledsoe is a pretty good player when healthy, and the Cavs would still be the odds on favorite to win the East next year.

I can fill in what Phoenix will get Solomon Hill and a # 1 (or 2 # 1's) from New Orleans as they are getting the best out of this. Cousins is really not a great fit there, and his contract is up and will get max $$$. They will save a lot of money on Kyrie and TT. Solomon Hill and 2 number 1's make sense for Phoenix for Bledsoe. Quinn Cook could also be added as backup PG to Phoenix.

He never tore up John Wall. Bradley Beal guarded him 90 percent of the time. Wall only guarded him a few plays.

Is Beal considered the better defender of those two? Otherwise i've to assume Wall wanted no part in guarding IT because he couldn't or didn't have the energy to do both lead on offense and stop IT on defense. Thomas was the sole offensive force on the Celtics, if your best defender doesn't guard him, something with your gameplan isn't right.

Eh. He's fringe top 10.

Off the top of my head -

Jordan
Wilt
LeBron
Kareem
Shaq
Magic
Bird
Duncan
Russell
Olajuwan
Roberston

All have claim to be better than Kobe. Personally, Kobe would be 11th or 12th for me.

Oh stop. As if there will ever be a definitive list. All I know is Lebron's career will end with three rings, so keep thanking Durant for it...keep those hate threads coming  .

The reality is Lebron is fringe top 10. He's got too many losses, too many mental breakdowns in finals situations. And e's going to decline now, and as he declines people won't think so highly of him. It's just the way sports is. And why in the world would anyone put Lebron over Kareem or Magic? Let me guess, Lebron is better because he lost more, and ring chased. This is such a Lebron-forum.

There there guys, it will be ok. Keep pretending Lebron doesn't need to win more though to come close to the top 5. Even Barkley said Lebron isn't up there with Kobe yet, and Barkley pretty much hates Kobe.

What does a Kyrie Irving trade demand have to do with a top 10 list? lol

A lot of you are so damn insecure lol

Maybe Boston has to give up something else, I don't know, perhaps one of their draft picks that they're hoarding.

er..... do you write "Himmler" so much your spellcheck has defaulted to that or you think about Himmler so much you did it yourself?

Dang, how the heck did that happen, Nostradamus?

Houston isn't immediately turning around and dealing CP3.

Yeah man. Imagine if he dragged a team of dead weight through the Eastern Conference Playoffs and into the Finals.

Oh wait...he did that in 2007. Try again homie.

For most gms I would agree. Not Houston's though.

Yeah, even if they wanted to, the Rockets wouldn't do it. The Rockets would never get a high level player again. Morey has this ridiculous rep of not caring about players (even though plenty of examples of guys coming back to play under him), but he isn't stupid. He knows he can't do something like that.

Though, given the defense between Kyrie and Harden, I would much rather have CP3

Chris Paul is definitely better than Kyrie, but it doesn't make a lot of sense unless Lebron is going to play off ball more. It would allow him to rest, though. CP3 is one of the best players in the league at making others around him better so the team would definitely be better with Lebron off court than it was with Kyrie. Paul only has one of year left on his contract and he and Lebron could both just bolt in off season and then the Cavs are screwed, though. Either way, Paul is so much older than Kyrie that it doesn't make a lot of sense to trade Irving for him. You gotta think long term.

Why would houston do this? CP3 is way better, even if Kyrie's younger CP3's skills aren't athleticism based, he'll be at a high level for quite awhile

chris paul may be better, but im not taking him over kyrie
kyrie is younger...cavs have absolutely 0 chance of winning this year so if lebron doesnt want to waive his no trade then they just need to give him a roster of whatever they can put together
who the hell expects chris paul to stay in cleveland lol

If Irving wants to be "the man," why would he go to Houston and continue being a second banana?
