OK might actually be a terrific match for 'Melo... He's the 3rd option on offense... some nights the 1st or 2nd option depending on how the defense plays him. He can play PF next to Adams who can gobble up the boards. Melo, George and Westbrook are all very good rebounders so their team rebounding, defense, and rim protection should be quite good.

The key is, Roberson has to fix his damn shot, 3-point and FT. Then that would unlock everything and they could beat a team like GSW in a grind it out series.

Russ/Roberson/PG13/Melo/Adams is a sick starting lineup.

The trade would have to be Kanter + some of their youth + at least one 1st rounder. Not great, but not as terrible as some of this other stuff and Kanter can probably be flipped to a 3rd team and he has a player option he will probably exercise.

What can they offer though, at this point after the PG13 deal?

EDIT: Kanter and McBuckets?

I think I might take

Kanter/Abrines/Ferguson

and its interesting that ferguson hasn't signed his rookie contract yet so I think he could be traded right away.

Kanter deal is big $$$ wise but only 2 years with a player option (he could in theory opt out) making him a large expiring...Abrines is a 23 year old from Spain who can shoot. I like his game good piece. And I really like Ferguson's 3/D potential.

I would like this move.

So many teams would be a great match for Melo. He could have been traded a lot sooner if he wasn't so stuck on playing with either CP3 or Lebron.

what could they possibly have to give us? they just traded everyone for PG13. I'd rather have Houston's 1st round picks. They have a real shot to fall off a cliff in a 2-3 years, whereas OKC has a little more time if Russ & PG13 re-up.

kanter is a much easier contract to handle then Anderson or Leonard for that matter. He also has a player option which he might decline to sign a longer term deal next summer. So he could actually be an expiring...

I'd have to be Kanter + x you guys. Otherwise we couldn't match salaries.

I see nothing appealing from OKC. No thanks.
