Anyways, skill is the only thing that matters when hiring a person. They are chumps for their lefty trendy politics, though.

Skills? Was Steve Jobs skilled? Didn't even screw a circuit board into a computer. He died a billionaire.

No, it's opportunities, effective training, and experience...the skills come later. Problem is, you don't get to develop skills without an opportunity and as a guy clocking in on later half of his 40s, I gotta say...learn to suck dick or know someone.

In NYC, there are PLENTY of kids who are "skilled" from Colombia, NYU, Fordham and half a million in debt.

As an Asian American, I gotta say that's horribly stereotyped. I work in the health profession and trust me, DUMB Asians are rampant every where. We're just more quiet about it. And no, those companies hire less than 10% minorities domestically (according to the Economist), which is what I am referring to.

NOW, if you want to talk about Chinese with work VISAs or asians working in India, China, Taiwan, which saves those companies from having to pay benefits or a real salary...then YES.

Gallo broke his thumb. Guess it's up to Austin now...

If Phil pulled that off, I would put a put a paper bag over my head, paste a picture of Jeannie on it, poke a hole through the mouth, and give Phil the best BJ he's ever had in his entire life.[/quote]

Threw hands with some dude named Kok :o during a Eurobasket game. It was a cock fight ( The Cock vs Kok) .

Funniest part of the wiretap is this
Gallinari took exception to Kok aggressively trying to get position

Those last 70 seconds, Randle in a nut shell.

Awful 2 for 1 3PT attempt when we are up 2
Doesn’t close out on Sabonis --> open 3
Takes another side step off balance 3

We got sucked into the Randle vortex where all good feelings go to die.

It's really a bummer. All bygones notwithstanding, I would have liked to see what his potential really was.

He'll miss the summer contests, but they said you'll be able to see what he can do again in the fall. Don't feel so bad.

Just taking this on fromthe thread that was closed.

Whatever happened to just being grateful you got the guy you wanted and leaving it at that? Do you really need to troll other organizations? How desperate are you for validation?

I'm going to propose to the American Psychiatric Association that they consider adding a new disorder -- BPD (Billionaire Personality Disorder. It seems to fit quite a few of them.

For what seems like the first time in Knicks history, a player we let go actually didn't do better with his next team! Kevin Seraphin was just released.

He'd be the perfect guy at the end of the rope for tug-o-war -- very heavy and strong. As a center, I wasn't impressed.

The whole Doc Rivers losing his front office position with the Clippers reminded me of Zimbabwe who seized the lands of white farmers by connecting them to colonialism (not that they were wrong) but they were short sighted and didn't properly maintained the lands. As a result Zimbabwe went from the Bread basket of Africa to starvation nation. Similarly Rivers took advantage of Donald Sterling's embarrassing situation and took a position he had no qualifications. We're watching the Clippers revert to what they were before Chris Paul.
