This is why you can never take bNo seriously. He's all bluster and no brains.
And Smoker pitched well too while Edgin is on the unemployment line.

what about him?
hey if you're gonna talk about him game by game and hope he fails, that's a you problem that i honestly don't care about.

you keep saying smoker pitched well, where is this well?
again i'll post stats, not advanced stats, but stats that were around since the dawn of time
33.2 innings
41 hits allowed
20 walks allowed
61 total base runners allowed in 33.2 innings
6.68 era to go with those terrible numbers
1.81 whip
and here's your advanced stat, he's a -0.6(that's negative) in WAR.
so again, where is this "pitched well" ... unless of course you mean that he pitched a game where he wasn't hit hard

Using ERA to evaluate a middle innings reliever is a little dicey. If you take that stat out of the equation, they're in the same ballpark but the stats give a slight edge to Edgin. How poetic.

Did you see the game last night or were you too busy sharpening your fingernails?
Smoker threw 6 pitches and all of them were for strikes. He looked great. Edgin must have loved watching on his TV from his rocking chair.
Rosario looked like a guy with potential who isn't ready yet, just as we've been telling you, which is why this was the proper time to bring him up and not 6 weeks ago like you were advocating.

it'll be funny when smoker gets dfa'd when the mets have to add 2 players they traded reed for on the 40 man, in addition to guys they don't want to lose in the rule 5.
so edgin may be on this team next year after all while smoker won't

Excellent. So I can expect you and reub to continue this argument through the rest of this season, this off-season and into next season.
