I think inconsistent minutes are tough for any "rookie" no matter how old he is. Im sure he was never use to playing in two games then sitting 3 straight games. Or playing 20 minutes one game then 8 minutes the next. It's tough to get a rhythm...he needs to get better at shooting in his limited role or KG is right he probably will eventually be out of the NBA...but lets see if there is progress next year first

I almost always withhold my judgements on Rooks until they are well into their 2nd year. Not only was he a rook but a foreign one at that....you can't discount the adjustment. Some handle it better than others.

Yes, this is true. He also needs a bit of coaching on defense.

If things don't work out, he's only getting paid $3M for this year, then he's a free agent.

If he catches on, it was a reasonable gamble signing him.

After not speaking with Jackson, Porzingis said he’s been in contact with officials this summer via texts. Everyone knows what’s at stake: Porzingis, a freakish 7-foot-3 big man with a sniper’s shooting range, will soon command a contract extension worth well north of $100 million and the Knicks would love to be the team that pays it. His happiness with the team and the club’s direction is paramount.

“He’s an All-Star, an incredible player and I’ve learned so much from him,” Porzingis said. “There’s still so much for me to learn form him. I would love to have him around and keep playing alongside him. But it is what it is. It’s a business. If it ends, well ... I don’t know, it’s out of my hands. I’m really thankful for these couple of years I’ve been with him, just seeing how he works during the summer. It proves he wants to win and he wants to be great. I’m sure he’ll make the right decision for himself.”

I want to improve the mental side. I’m actually amazed by Conor McGregor. I’ve been watching so many of his videos, trash talking, how mentally strong he is. I’ve been really interested in that kind of stuff.

Well look at this mature MF!!!! He is coming!!!

Skipped exit meetings, trade him for a player that won't disrespect the fans like that.

Based on his play and the idea of getting a young player that's better...

I love KP. But those two are better than him now. I think KP passes up Jokic cause his two way potential, but towns ehhhhh

Right now KP should be last in that poll

if he passes jokic on his two way potential than he can pass towns. towns is just as pedestrian is jokic defensively, and jokic is every bit as good as towns is offensively. i agree about him not being better than either right now though. the stronger he gets, the closer he gets to them.

KP probably should be 3rd in that poll now but I do wonder if things would be closer if he was thrown into the deep end as the #1 option. Towns got to be the man on Minny for the entirety of last season and Jokic got the keys as the year progressed. I'd like to see all 3 guys as the man on their team for a full year before saying who is clearly better than the other.

Since when skipping voluntary exit meeting has become disrespecting fans?
