All aboard the Kaepernick train.
I was typing a paper when I found out tannehill hyperextended his knee and I needed an hour to collect my thoughts and ward off depression.
I mean I think Matt Moore is a good enough back up to assume the starting role and get things done if Landry, Parker, and ajayi take another step forward.
I feel more bummed about the career trajectory of Ryan tannehill. I really think he's been underdeveloped for reasons out of his control and has endure unfair bs, not being able to call audibles and make pre snap decisions, never having the support of your coach who kinda low key trashes you in the media, having fans berate you on the internet. Then finally he gets a coach who will ride for him, his team starts really giving good effort week in and week out, he's able to gain confidence by winning a couple of ugly games at the end, teams on its way to the playoffs and then he gets hurt.
I really wanted to see him get a decent shot this year at showing what he could do in a stable situation with the full support of his teammates. I'm kinda rooting for him to go against the surgery and risk it all for a shot at proving himself as a qb this year. I feel bad for him
Luckily, Matt Moore is one of the best backups in the league so all is not lost in terms of the regular season. But for the playoffs, we need a healthy Tannehill to compete. JTrain will have to carry a larger load this year.
