I hate this move. I would have preferred Tony Romo over Cutler. Obviously, Kapaernick was my first choice but I can understand why they didn't go with him. Fcking idiot had to say stupid **** last year.

Wanted Kaepernick as well, but Gase has done everything right up to this point. His main objective is winning. If Cutler is his choice, it wasn't an arbitrary decision.

Outside of some highlights. I never really paid much attention to Cutler's game. What are his strengths and his weaknesses?

Cutler's arm strength can't be denied. He has a rocket launcher.

He hasn't seemed to be well liked by his teammates and in the locker room. Word is his ability to relate with players greatly improved during that season with Gase in Chicago.

Gase is said to be the one coach Cutler ever truly connected with since he's been in the league.

I think he's a bad starting qb for sure, and probably a bad back up as well. giving him credit for leading an extremely deep 49ers team to the super bowl is like giving manning credit for that broncos sb win a couple of years ago.

Guy made highlights, but he's a bad passer. There's no use putting weapons around him because he is incapable of using weapons. the only team he sorta kinda fits on is seattle, who doesn't need him. Anyone whose been watching him play recently can tell you that he's a tremendous athlete and an awful qb. This is 2017 not 2012. There is a clear divide between an athletic qb who can't throw and one who can like cam.

Cam can play on this dolphins team and throw for over 4000 yards and high 20's in tds. Kap has never shown the ability to do anything close to that whatsoever. He's a very bad starting level player right now. I'd be terrified if he was the phone starting qb, blackballing issue aside.

You're wrong. Kaep played best when he played into a similar offensive scheme that we run today. He played just as well as Tannehill last year on a worse team.
Even look at our head to head last year. He killed us, he almost came back from 17 point 4thQ deficit. Made play after play despite the lack of talent. Put him with Ajayi, Parker, Stills, Jarvis, Thomas he goes from arguably the worst talented offense's to one of the best.

To say kapaernick played anywhere near as good as tannehill did last year is absurd. We rag on tannehill for throwing short passes, but go watch some tape of kap and that's all you're going to see. He isn't good enough to make half of the throws tannehill makes in our offense.

Kap has a heck of an arm, but he reads things way too slowly and doesn't have the accuracy or the touch to make the kind of throws needed to unleash the guys we got.

I really don't think you watch kap if you think he's anywhere near as good as tannehill lol. Maybe 2012 kap who ran more, sure he was dangerous, but that guy is gone fellas. 2016 kap would have lead us to a similar record last year to the one San Fran had.

Also I was comparing kap to cam to juxtapose a running qb who can still pass well and one who can't. Cam succeeds in the league cause he could go out and get 300 and 3 tds if he needs to. That is not something kap can do lol.

I can understand this kap love if you think derrick rose is better than say Jeff Teague. Jeff Teague is a decent, solid, but flawed starting point guard. If you have other guys around him, you can win.

Derrick rose at this point is one of the worst point guards in the league who gets rotation minutes. He gets respect from former players and the added boost from the media of being a former MVP, but in reality was never near an MVP level player even when he won that award. Now, the game has changed, the style of play in the NBA is one that makes his weaknesses more pronounced, and he's not as good as he used to be.

Tannehill is jeff Teague. He's solid. Kap is derrick rose. A big name lol who is more relevant because of past accomplishments that he has no chance of replicating cause he's a depreciated product and frankly was never as good as his accomplishments would lead one to believe.

Career 300 Yard Games with 3 TD's (Regular season + playoffs)...

• Ryan Tannehill (4 times in 77 total games played)
• Cam Newton (3 times in 99 total games played)
• Colin Kaepernick (2 in 75 total games played)

...so again I ask, what's your point?

Tannehill was the first best choice, but he's injured and can't play. That left Moore, Cutler and Kaep. Bringing Cam into the discussion was pointless.

If you're going to compare a talent like Kaep to Cam because they're both "running QB's", you might as well compare Tannehill to Rodgers.

Those comparisons would be beyond silly. Cam and Rodgers are far and away the superior players, in every facet of the game, whether discussing Kaep or Tannehill. Both come up woefully short in any manner of quarterback comparison.

All that being said, this is Cutler's team now... time to rally behind him.

I trust Gase but my expectations have shot down this year. We have talent on offense but Cutler has had talented offense's before and did nothing.

If you buy one you should buy it for Blood borne. Probs my fave game ever.

Hey Dom, have you tried out Nioh yet? Been playing through it recently and it has a strong Souls/Bloodborne vibe. Not as deep as those games and the world isn't as richly detailed, but it's nice to play a game with a similar style.

I played the alpha when it came out and couldn't get into it. I had a hard time transitioning off of Bloodborne tbh. Nothing else kept my attention, until DS3 came out. I've heard that Noon is a bit better than the alpha version I played, but I think there are other games out there I'd rather play first.

Now I've moved on and tackled Arkham Knight (meh) and FarCry 4 (not bad).

Anyone know what Willie did? If he hit his girlfriend, then do we know who started the fight, or if she hit him 1st?

If a woman hits me i will knock her on her a$$. But i wouldn't hit her 1st.

Damn right, act like a man get treated like it. I grew up in a home with 4 sisters and the oldest one liked to come at me and the police told me equal force, just don't hit first and no one's going to care. Last time she ever hit me was the very next incident.

Good for you.

There are way to many women who think that they can get away with anything just because they are female. They get the house, the car, & even your children. Not to mention you have to pay alimony, as well as child support. Hell often men call the cop after getting attacked by their girlfriends/Wife, & they are the ones that get arrested. Its all F... up.

When it comes to hitting women, don't do it. Even if you think you are justified in doing it, remind yourself that society won't feel that way and it will wreck your life. Tell yourself and all your friends this a million times if you need the message to sink in, but don't do it.

A smaller but still large portion of reported domestic abuse is female against male. That's not taking into account that many, many men don't report stuff like this, whereas a higher percentage of women do. It's people like you who are the reason that many men are abused and not taken seriously.
