Facebook owns Instagram btw.
Young people don't use Facebook like they used to, but they still use it because they have to.
Instagram stories are killing Snap anyway. Twitter is still relevant but its not profitable and probably never will be.
I know that, and like I said, that doesn't mean facebook
is instagram.
Facebook the company and Facebook the website are 2 different things. Facebook the company is growing. Facebook the website peaked years ago.
And how do people "have" to use Facebook? Is that just an assumption, because we're not using FB nor do we
need to.
Anyway, why is this such a big deal to you guys?
Its not a big deal lol. Its the off season. What else are we supposed to talk about?
Young people still need Facebook for group projects, to join groups for clubs/colleges, and to stay in touch with their relatives.
Its more like something they have to have rather than something they do for fun.
I'm only 24 and I have a little sister whos only 18. So I know what younger peopel are doing.
True lol. Better than talking about the weather.
And I don't know man. I'm 20 and don't use FB at all. I have only a handful of friends who still use it. Group chats are all done in texts, and all colleges have online programs where group work is done. Keeping in touch with family is a good point, but typically you only use Facebook to contact your older relatives, no? I usually use skype or just text the more tech savy members.
Now that you mention it, I did use FB alot to contact classmates in HS. Copy and pasting HW and what not

. But once I got to college that's when it became obsolete. Like I said I havent even added anybody I've met in college on FB.
