I think Beas could have a season like Derrick Williams did if we play him consistently.

Points need to come from somewhere if we move Melo.

Beas could have a season like Melo did if we play him consistently. And at less than 1/10th the salary.

How? I can guarantee you that if beas had the hype of melo and was able to iso and shoot 25 times a game he would be just as bad as melo. :D

What's the deal with expecting so much from a vet minimum signing?

Got a soft spot for smooth lefties. Super Cool Beas certainly fits that bill. Watched him a lot in Minny. We all know it's in the head with the dude. Maybe he pulls it together and bonds with the youngsters on the squad. Maybe not, though. It's up to Beas, ultimately.

He is going to average <10 pts. Brick some 3s. Play some crappy defense. Michael Beasley is going to have a whack season and I cant believe that anyone would have high expectations for him. Hopefully he plays the role his contract implies and no more. Just a bench guy. Good signing in that role but if you expect any more than that you are buggin.

So what are your realistic projections for him stats wise this season?
