It wasn't built for this year. What about that do you not get man?

That's why he gave up #3rd best prospect for a free swinging FA 3rd baseman, 2 relievers...cause it's about next few seasons right?

I'm being facetious of course.

Hey if Cashman is given all the kudos, he deserves a share of the blame when he team struggles. Blame cuts both ways.

Listen, the 2017 New York Yankees have the most expensive pen in the history of baseball. The KC Royals formula works but I've said this over and over, the Royals had the line up built for close games. This Yankee team is below .500 in close games. They are at least 2-3 seasons from becoming a contender despite ESPN and NY Media talking it up.

Speaking of the Royals, the Yanks are NOT a lock for the Wild Card. They are even money to lose the wild card, which the media will go with fire Girardi.

Frazier was a throw in Yankees had to accept him in the trade in order to get rid of Clippard,he is an expiring contract anyways, it is still about the next few seasons realistically, Cashman was trying to give his team a better chance this year while not mortgaging the future. Do people not understand you can't keep all your players you will lose some due to the rule 5 draft, Fowler, Mateo were gonna be blocked for the forceable future.

Exactly. Frazier is probably someone who will probably take a lesser contract next year to stay in NY as insurance. They got Kahnle for 2 more years and Robinson for next season. Grey is locked up for 2 more years too. They gave up guys that were going to have a hard time making it to the pros to solidify the bullpen and add a top of the rotation arm. They didn't give up any of the major league ready guys. Add in Bird, Torres, Andujar, Adams to the roster next year and keep it moving. We didn't affect any future plans with those trades.

Two relievers who are quality relievers and under control next year. I don't really fault Cashman and his deals too much. I wasn't a big fan of bringing in Todd Frazier or Jaime Garcia because they were rentals but for the most part we got rid of guys who would have needed to be added to the 40 man roster or risk losing them for nothing. So I can't complain too much as long as the guys produce. I just really would have preferred Lucas Duda to Frazier. I think his big lefty bat would have been perfect in Yankee stadium and would have strengthen our lineup.
Why rely on nuance, facts and logic when you can bludgeon the other side with mindless repetition of "Duuur McDaniel's has potential :tooth and still be treated as if you were reasonable.

Alright. This is the make or break series in the division. If the Sawx put away the Yanks, it's the fight for the wild
Card but if the Yanks still have some fight they can boost their morale.

How many innings that Garcia will pitch tonight? I'm going with 3-1/3.

Are you still in Miami? How do you watch Knick games? Im moving to Jacksonville in a month... Just curious if I have options outside of NBA league pass which is severely overpriced. Moving to Florida and I cant even watch Dolphin games... (dolphins fan) So I gotta buy a package for 3 spot teams... ridiculous :noway:

Sorry homie, forgot to answer you.

I'll pm you some details.

Jaime Garcia greases one and the Red Sawx go yard 2-0 in the first. Helluva trade, Cash!

Only 2 hits through the 6 inning? Yanks offense dried up.
