He said point guard.

Not even 1 assist? We usually bashed Melo for this so fair play to question why KP refused to pass the ball.
Seems like a ball hog so not a great game for him. Let's hope he picks up his performance going forward.
Looks like you didn't watch the game, but only saw the box score. That's too bad, because you missed all KP did for the team. Passes that weren't for assists, passes that were for assists but the shots weren't made, driving and kicking the ball out. He basically change the nature of the game on both ends of the floor. His +/- was a game high 21.
Sometimes you have to see the game because the stats don't tell the whole story.
What was he bad at? He missed a ton of 3's and his foul shooting was poor. And about fouls, he had only 1 PF, but was fouled 8 times.
I 100% agree with your logic. My question is why can't we use this logic for ALL our players?

He said point guard.
That's the position he plays.

So if KP's team lost, all of the good he did doesn't exist anymore.
The opposite, if Melo's Knicks teams won, everything he does would be viewed positively and you know it.

Lonzo is already better than Porzingis.

That's the problem. Individual performance and team performance are totally different.
Anthony Davis plays great and is a great player and yet his team sucks. Why? He can't win alone. However, a team not winning doesn't take away from him performing well.
You guys use this logic when you feel like it. KP has been here for 2 years. We haven't won a damn thing, however that doesn't take away from him playing decent basketball himself. He is not and will not be responsible for these other grown ass men being paid to show up and perform just like him.

Lol, is this really a controversial statement? Lonzo had one of the best freshman seasons of all time, while Knicks fans gloat about rim protection or something something to justify Porzingis poor rebounding and efficiency.

Not even judging by your post history(since its all just trashing KP) Dont you have anything better to do in your life than to troll forums with complete BS? Since you are so new yet act like you're so oldschool here I assume this is not your 2nd or even 3rd account which will eventually be banned because you do nothing but post crap.

You're comparing a player's performance in college to another player's performance in the NBA, and you think everyone else is being unreasonable?

Taking Lonzo over Porzingis is hardly a controversial statement.
